Just dived back into Ragnarok for my 2nd playthrough on ps5 pro, thanks for the tips.

there is the R1 R1 R1 R1 R1 R1 R2. Im not sure if there is a specific ability with the blades needed, but I have everything unlocked.

I simply can not figure out realm shift set ups, or how to activate souless warrior😭. Tried beatin Beserker king for 4 hours

God of War and GOW Ragnarok have probably the most satisfying Parry in gaming. It feels so good

Many who play gow don't know the function of the shield in the hands of Kratos

omg I've been parrying "wrong" the whole game. I parry by double tapping l1, which is a shield bash - but it definitely works, I guess they coded both to work. But it never occurred to me to try parrying by holding l1, just at the right time. That makes it a lot safer to use!

swipe up for a shieldbash??? sounds like a nightmare 😂

Best way to learn these tips and tricks without any help is to play thru the original first on the hardest mode once or twice and go for 100% each time. Ragnorok just seems easy after I did that. Most of the combat carries over.

It still perplexes me that people can play through an entire game, and still not know how to pronounce key words.

I usually know I'm playing like a dingus but am not in the mood to correct that and end uo getting frustrated.

I can usually brute force fights but the drauger hole (hateful) on the quest to help Freya in her home realm got the best if me. I was careful and whittle him down over time but one missed doge when he was super low on health really pissed me off.

Time to revisit another day and try some better tactics.

I didnt play gowr for 6 months and i first log in i got into fight with hatefull a raged up so quickly

We can actually interrupt the red colored attacks of the enemies...but I noticed it's possible with only the blades of chaos...idk if this is common knowledge or not but really useful and ig the only way to stop those red ring attacks

absolutely amazing guides as always Arktix even 1 year later your input is amazing since it just came out on the PC. The only thing i would say if u could do for future videos would be good if u could say the PC button equivalent as well for those like me that dont have a console and its so confusing to understand which is the equivalent on a PC the R2 or triangle for example. I have to go on your video then go in game and see which from the millions of combos or buttons is the triangle or R2 then go back to your video see the combo or whatever it is that what u were talking about. Appart from that i LOVE your vids tyvm for all the hard work u do for us :)

I think I realize now why I suck at parrying. I just tap it and I always miss doing it and get frustrated. Apparently I need to hold the button longer.

Wuwa got me used to parrying with the golden indicator. Going back to gow and parrying based on enemy animation kinda threw me off lol

I prefer applying burn first since scorched sweep is so good at applying burn compared to the axe’s methods to applying status.

I bully single Winnie’s with the Hyperion skills I charge bash into them fling them into the air and just slam them into the ground until they die something is satsfiying about it to me knowing I used to die to them in the 2018 game until I got good now I bully them in the newest one 😂
