Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake Review - The Final Verdict

Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake takes one of the best games in the series and polishes a majority of the rough patches to great effect. Fans will be disappointed at the removal of multiplayer, but the bevy of new officers and features will more than satisfy. New players can come to expect a versatile strategy game set in ‘Three Kingdoms’ era China, featuring characters from the famous Chinese novel of the same name.

In addition to the usual grid-based strategy battles, this game features a realistic monthly calendar spanning 80-plus years and over 55 scenarios. RPG fans will delight in the ability to create a custom officer and rise from nobody to ruler. This is a great entry in the Three Kingdoms series, arguably one of the very best since the beloved tenth entry. Check it out for yourself when it launches October 23rd for PC, PS4/PS5, and Switch.
