MMQB's Albert Breer joins Michael Holley and Mike Felger to discuss his report that the Krafts have called around to other teams to see what others are saying about the best way is to handle a young quarterback. The guys also discuss the state of the team's young coaching staff, including head coach Jerod Mayo, and the likelihood that the Patriots move on from offensive coordinator Alex van Pelt after the season.

Bill was 5-13 before Tom took over and that team was loaded with talent. This team was decimated by years of terrible drafts. If you want to be the Jets keep firing coaches.

He's too soft. The only difference between last year and this year is coaching. This year they can't run, or stop the run. That's coaching and mentality. Mayo needs to go!

I don't have enough evidence to say, "In Jerod we trust" yet. But I agree with Bert, especially when considering what Mayo inherited. Staff changes should be considered. Jimmy Johnson and Troy Aikman put up a 1-15 record in their first season in Dallas. BB was 5-13 his first year in NE, right? And, oh by the way, wasn't Mayo a Bill Belichick assistant??? Does that mean he's no good?

Sorry but Boston sports media is completely trash. Y’all thought Mac jones was good I remember people saying they’d take Mac over Kyler. Guys like Greg Bedard thought Josh Allen wasn’t good, and don’t get me started on all the crap people said about Lamar Jackson. The arrogance and delusion from the media and some in this fanbase is laughable

Does anyone not think that a Ben Johnson/Jim Harbaugh/one of these star OCs around the league..be a better choice for the future offense of this team.....instead of defensive guy/a nobody in Wolf...in moving this team toward success. Kraft just fkd up from the get go..gonna cost them for years.

Yeah yeah yeah. Look. You fix this guy's throwing mechanics for less wobbly throws and more accuracy, make him gain weight and muscle to withstand a little punishment and break a few tackles a la Josh Allen, and pair him with a more compitent OC who has better play calling than Van Pelt, and you're in business.

Let’s be real the only reason the fans don’t want to back Mayo. Is because he’s black. If this was Teddy Bruschi he would get the benefit of the doubt.
