Thank you from an old and complete novice to ripping CDs. I didn't have a clue how to do it until I carefully followed your video (several times). I'm a happy lady now that I have my beloved Kinks and Led Zeppelin CD's on my laptop ready to figure out how to get them on to my phone tomorrow. One brave step at a time! LOL! Thanks again!
ОтветитьI'm regretting not including an internal disc player the last time I built a system. It would only get used on rare occasions, but my car doesn't have a disc player either and the external ones I've tried really work terribly. Thanks for this video. it's been so long since I've had to do this I had forgotten how.
Ответитьdont work with windows 10 media player 100% dont work
ОтветитьI grew up with my sister doing this for me, and I recently got a external dvd player/burner with one of my favorite albums because my favorite song got removed from all streaming services.
I just wanted to make sure I was doing everything correctly. No matter how old the video or software; Someone is always looking for help for something that might seem simple, thank you!
will this work with an external disc drive? my computer doesnt have one. also, isn't wav better than mp3?
Ответитьanyone wondering where the rip UI is, you need to click on the cd section in the home panel on left. access with the house icon in up left corner :)
ОтветитьWhen I put the cd into the drive, I do not get all the information your computer showed at the very beginning of this video. Is there a setting somewhere in the Windows Media Player program that will allow me to tell the program to switch into RIP mode and show me all the required information and commands?
ОтветитьThank you. Working.. I just forgot how to and the cd is one I bought from an artist who lets me rip it so I can listen to it on my computer
ОтветитьThank you so much for making this video. Very helpful.
ОтветитьThanks!!! I replaced my CD player in my car with a modern day head unit.
ОтветитьVery good! I've never took in account that Media Player do it
ОтветитьDoes this work on DVD's?
Ответить🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
ОтветитьWindows Media Player is one of the hardest applications to learn how to use. If you start Media Player with the CD already in the drive you will never find how to rip it. You have to pop it out and then pop it back in for Media Player to suggest ripping it. It is (I believe) an intentionally difficult program to use.
ОтветитьMy media player window does not have a tool bar and does not have the options yours does. frustrating!!!
Ответитьgreat
ОтветитьI'm glad I found this video. I used another program Anyburn and it took at least an hour if not 2 to rip one CD.
Ответитьi have 0 idea why this happens, but it gets all the information wrong! I ripped all my cds only to find all the names, authors, and composers were not at all correct! Can someone please give me a fix, i cannot for the life of me find an answer
ОтветитьThank you for the walk through
ОтветитьAwesome. Very easy. Thank you for sharing this.
ОтветитьI just downlaoded WMP to my new PC, and it looks nothing like this
It doesnt seem to have any of th eoptions you used, just a "rip" button which rips them to W4A format (or something) and stores them in a folder but doesnt seem to want to tell me where that is... Do i Need an OLDER version of WMP?
Microsoft doing what it does best, giving you new versions with less options, customization and functionality
very helpful, thanks!
ОтветитьLove it, the metadata works on this unlike EAC. Cheers great video.
ОтветитьIt is so long since since I have done this I forgot all about it. I thought the drivers weren't working on a new PC tower I bought. Tried on a laptop I just did a factory reset on as it has a disc drive.
MANY THANKS. HAVE A GOOD 2024
Thank you, it was a great help.
ОтветитьThanks !
ОтветитьClear and concise! Many thanks!
ОтветитьYou just helped me man...thankssssss
ОтветитьThank you for this video. I appreciate it.
ОтветитьExcellent tutorial.
I'm a programmer and software developer but this is the type of work that i "suck" doing.
Thanks for the help.
Thank you so much
ОтветитьReally useful, thank you so much! I found Exact Audio Copy to be too complicated for me to mess our with code to get mp3s
Ответитьwhat is the best CD drive to use? a regular reader? reader/burner?
ОтветитьWhy can’t I hear my music? Everything else worked perfectly.
ОтветитьYou didn’t mention that you can un tick the green check mark next to any track that you don’t want to copy and WMP will bypass them in the copy process.
ОтветитьCiao , una informazione : i DVD non funziona più .ciao
ОтветитьI don't mind WMP. But now, with the Windows 11 update, the "Rip CD" function is gone! WTF? Also, I seem to have lost my saved album cover art for my ripped songs too. How is this an upgrade?
ОтветитьStrange, the "change" button under "Rip Music" menu, (To say where to save) doesnt bring up a directory window as per your video, so I cant change the save-to directory. Bummer!
ОтветитьQuick, concise explanation! Bonus points for using a Jeff Lynne (ELO) CD!!!
ОтветитьHow do you get that "rip" tab to come up? When I open WMP I just get the option to just play the CD. What am I doing wrong?
ОтветитьWMP is terrible for ripping, it doesn't even tell you in detail how the rip went. What kind of oversight is that?
You're better off using Exact Audio Copy or CueRipper for this purpose.
The gift that keeps on giving...I've used this clip so much to remind me how to do it. Thank you again 😁🏴
ОтветитьAny idea how to rip the whole CD to a single file?
ОтветитьExcellent instructions! Just as you indicated....QUICK & EASY. Just the right tutorial for us that needed to refresh our knowledge on how to do it.Thanks for sharing this video...I found everything I needed to help a friend by re-using an oldie laptop with a CD driver (rarely to find now).
ОтветитьWow thanks. Very easy to follow. Thank you so much 😁🙏
ОтветитьVery good. Love ELO too
ОтветитьThank you. Very clear instructions.
