Why do we always have to go to America to grow our sports. I mean, I get it. Financially it makes sense. But, we have the Middle East market (Saudi Arabia etc), there is Asia and South America. Why not grow the sport there?

I enjoy this show, but I would love if it was released in the same format as the breakdown. One long video

So it'll essentially turn the World Cup into an annual event by forcing all the teams in the world to play against each other every year? Why do this? The four-year cycle of the Webb Ellis is what makes it special. Creating another competition that mimics it will devalue both set ups and will also endanger player welfare. Players are already operating in the red zone - in every camp, players from every nation are getting injured before, during and after tests, and this will make matters worse. The only reason I can see for it is money and World Rugby's insatiable desire to accumulate as much of it as it possibly can. It's bad enough that these cretins want to de-power the scrum and tinker with the rules incessantly - 20 minute red cards, no calling a scrum from a mark, etc. I'd love to know what 'credentials' you require to have a seat at this table, because the clown who leads the show, Bill Beaumont, was a second-rate amateur who recently claimed international rugby is no longer as 'exciting' in the final 20 minutes of games - after the quarter finals of the world cup his organisation presided over!

How can one have promotion and relegation to this new competition if one does not have promotion and relegation to and from the Six Nations and Rugby Championship?

While the likes of Ireland, France, South Africa and New Zealand might not worry about that or be against it in principle, I’m pretty sure that the likes of Wales, Italy, Australia or Argentina would block and chance of relegation from their respective tournaments.

Stupid idea. RWC will suffer.
