Looking for a good and affordable meal in central London? Look no further than Blacklock in Philpot Lane this is the quieter branch! Here, you can enjoy a range of bites, including cheese and pickle, egg and anchovy, and potted meat bites. And if you're looking for a great deal, be sure to try the ‘All In’ option currently priced at £24 per person, which includes one side.

But that's not all - Blacklock also offers a vegetarian option, which is a delicious BBQ British Halloumi and a sweet potato, broccoli, and walnut salad. I also had their Hibiscus Agua Fresca and it was only ok.

I found the steak to be a little tough, our overall experience at Blacklock was good. The vegetarian options were a highlight, although we felt that the portions could have been a bit bigger. It would be great if Blacklock offered larger portion sizes for vegetarians.

The star of the show, however, was definitely the sweet potato - it was simply delicious! All in all, while there may be other places in London that offer more variety, we would still recommend Blacklock for its affordable prices and offerings.
