i thought for priest ( and most casters ) engineering and tailoring would be BiS ?
ОтветитьThe druid table was the most confusing thing I've ever fucking seen...
ОтветитьIt's super lame how it's just "go jc and engineering" literally could have been a 30 second video.
ОтветитьI created an alt and boosted for Leatherworking (285) so that I could run Dire Maul North and mass produce Gordok Ogre Suits for my main when I raid Stormwind in Arugal.
ОтветитьGreat video, straight to the point. Thanks!
Ответитьso all the good ones need farming alts for mining
Ответитьback in the day i leveled up jc on my feral druid and ended up dropping it,, it gave me such a headache,, since some of dps gear was also used for tanking gear mainting the use of the 3 jc gems for both specs was just painful . it seemed like every time i good piece of gear im replacing a minimal 6 gems just because of 1 piece and that's not counting using certain set for certain encounters
Ответитьjust a reminder for the JC gems, you can only have 3 of each gem equipped so for my prot warrior for example the 3 extra gems will provide me with 882.9 health and assuming you are dropping blacksmithing for it then you would lose the extra sockets so the health would be even less (359 health) which is about a 1% increase of your health at p1 bis and even less if your a tauren. The same applies applies to DPS warriors dropping blacksmithing for JC, JC strength gem gives 34 so 34x3 = 102 strength vs 16x3 + 16x2 (blacksmithing sockets) = 80 strength so in conclusion dropping BS for JC would give you 22 extra strength which I dont think is worth it especially since you lose value from the gems in ToC when epic gems get released.
ОтветитьI hate engineering since vanilla but it is always meta
ОтветитьYou overly min/max stuff bro lol this is for world first pushers and that’s it
ОтветитьSo how the hell supposed to gather?
ОтветитьPVP Rdruid, which profession do u reckon ?
ОтветитьThis video is just word for word of the aoeah article lol
ОтветитьImagine everyone on your server watched this video and your auction house is empty with no mats cuz everyone has JC and Engi
ОтветитьWill it still be possible to level BS / JC add the sockets to pvp Gloves and Wrists then drop BS swap to Engi?
ОтветитьI have a question about this. When do you switch from mining to JWC? At start or pre-patch, at launch or at 80? (if you choose Engineering and JWC end game @scottejaye
Ответитьthis is a great for coming back
Im excited for wrath
this is just for try hard sweaty min maxing raiders right =?
Ответитьas a dps smite priest should i get jc/tailoring?
Ответитьwhat about professions for gold
Ответитьi think engineering and tailoring for spellhance shaman for the extra spellpower
ОтветитьQuestion regarding Holy Pally…With BS providing 2 gems (constant perk) which increases the mana return from divine plea as well as boosting spell power….how/why do we think JC/Engy is the smart choice? It would seem JC/BS is the undisputed winner of the min/max game. A 3 min CD nitro boosts to pick up the slack on the occasion you fail at positioning does not seem (to me at least) worth it. I’m not knocking JC/Engy (both of which I have at 375), but I’m more looking for a reason to not drop engy for BS. QOL aside, from a min mix perspective there seems only one clear winner
ОтветитьHow I wasn’t subd is beyond me. Solid vid.
Gonna balance it on my rogue. Currently Jfc/eng. Gonna figure which to drop for mining to double up to get back to my tbc standing and work it from there. Good times. 😂
Disc / holy priest ? I have enchanting atm and thinking about JC or Tailoring...
ОтветитьMin/max around mid/late game wrath eng/jw or eng/tailor is generally BiS professions, sure. But you forgot some very major key things here.
1) You don't need to min/max from the start. 2) Having say eng/min early on will be HUGE. We all know the price on mats when expansions are in early state. Imagen a stack of Cobalt bars on AH or heck a stack of Titansteel bars. Being able to get your farmed mats yourself early on as you lvl up to 80 stockpiling is something you forgot, eaither for big profit or self benefit. 3) Once you get to mid-game or around Ulduar, ish yeah then I can see a reason to min/max, etc. But what can you expect from a Retailer in disguise =)
Like and subs...oh aye I don't have a channel. But give a +1 for common sense?
Alchemy Engeneering is my way to go. this 40% more from manapots are just too good. im Main healing.
ОтветитьSo BiS for warrior is Jewel/ Engineer???
What about BS
I recommend having both a gatherer and the most useful crafter profession for your class. ALWAYS. The profession bonus are minimal and probably you won't notice them in your day to day raids or arenas, most of this mechanics are vastly overcomed by player skill, I've beated countless engi/jc min-max pvp players with my herbalist/inscriptor rogue, because poor performance and mistakes they committed and their frustration was inmense just because in the end of the day they need millions of gold to keep that min-maxed char (because they can't gather materials themselves or they have to log on another farming char and they can't do rdf or farm rep while gathering for example, which amenizes the tediousness a ton) while if I lose I'm usually OK because I have tons of gold and I can do other activities with the same char for improving slowly while having fun. In general, I do not recommend this kind of min-maxing experience to anybody but the most bored and hardcore players that just want to go on a final rampage before leaving wow forever. Because the experience is so stressful for so little and niche benefits that for me It's just not worth it, it turns wow into a job and that's NOT fun. Just my opinion as a veteran player (since original BC in 2009). No matter what you do there will be always someone better AND worse than you, and believe me you don't wanna be the 1st one if you want to have fun on this game. Cheers!
ОтветитьHello Thx for video.
For holy paladin ok for JC but for thé second professions except for mobility why not BS for extra socket for gemming ? Seems a better boost for sp or intel ?
With enchanting not really being the absolute best for any class...
What class & spec alt would you recommend it on and it still being a good 3rd choice/runner up?
I've seen alot of Engineering and tailoring recommendations on old posts late in wrath and on warmane for Rogue. What makes jewelcrafting better ?
ОтветитьThank you for your explanation for each class, what would you recommend for frost mage for arena?
Ответитьholy pally back in wrath wanted BS+JC for INT stacking
ОтветитьAs disc I’m keeping tailoring/enchanting. Since I already have max level enchanting, it doesn’t seem worth it to switch for just 2 sp. Also with the number of people going jc, enchanting should be more needed in guilds and on servers so can help you make money from offering services and be more useful to my guild.
ОтветитьGame is a far-cry of what it used to be. IMO there’s two demographics classic attracts: zoomers that never experienced an unmolested OG version (you have my deepest condolences), and older dudes still playing an antiquated version whilst being hopelessly addicted and stuck re-living the past.
They say depression is living in the past….
if you are pvper and heading for arena then Ingi is not that good, you cant use all taht stuff in there, if you are hunter you can go for it to time your Chimaereshot with the Rocket enchant for extra dps.
ОтветитьIsn't jewelcrafting less valuable when epic gems are available?
Ответитьas a holy pala, when should I pick up engi? Currently I'm jc/alch (for the sunwell trinket) so I imagine I'll be mid 70s before I'll find a trinket to replace that and the direbrew hops. I've also seen people saying that you might hit haste cap even before stepping into naxx making the engi haste boost less effective, the rocket boots can be resolved by having better positioning so it seems like just getting the BS for extra sockets will be better for straight healing once we get some naxx gear or even slightly before that.
ОтветитьOre gonna be hella expensive this expansion, and nodes gonna be mega camped. :(
Ответитьfor you rogues out there, id like to mention tailoring and engi.
ОтветитьI've been hearing from other guides and WotLK disc priests that tailoring is actually bad for disc, because the "spiky" spellpower can mess with Rapture procs and make you miss mana gains vs a steady spellpower gain (by creating a shield too big to be popped by some AoE mechanic you're looking to time with Rapture, while the tailoring proc is up). A lot seem to recommend pairing something else w JC, often enchanting or alchemy.
ОтветитьThis helped me a lot. Great video
ОтветитьSo would BS/enchanting be a bad combo for prot pally?
Ответитьmage
ОтветитьEngineering for almost all seems a bit short sighted.
Ответитьis jc better than enchanting for prot paladin because u can do strength gems vs sp enchant? 2 sp difference for being able to disenchant seems like a good trade. just trying to plan ahead. never played wrath before.
ОтветитьHuhhh...what about mages?
ОтветитьYes please, everyone go JC and tank the gem prices through the floor and make the rest of our lives cheaper :D
