Another beneficial video. What would you think about an equal weight in each of these along with SCHD for my daughter who has about 30 years to retirement?
ОтветитьThank you so much for your research! I have MOAT on my watchlist, but I added QGRO which has a really interesting strategy. I might divert some of my SCHD into one of those for diversification. There’s a “high pitch” noise in the background, just so you know.
ОтветитьRetired. Paired Core ETFs SCHD/DIVO w/MOAT, SPGP, OMFL, CGDV, JQUA.
ОтветитьVery nice job
ОтветитьYo dude. Peep NDIV if you haven't.
ОтветитьYour videos are top notch with thoughtful research. Thanks for the videos.
ОтветитьI'm interested in Moat. Nice video.
ОтветитьIm building up a growth portfolio of about 70% schg, 30% qqqm in a taxable and same 70/30 split with schg/ftec in a roth ira. Building these positions up to harvest future gains and buy more schd
ОтветитьFantastic content Nicholas
ОтветитьI like the 3 I mentioned last video DSTL, OMFL, SPGP. DSTL for valuation and cashflows, OMFL for market cycles and factors, and SPGP for cheap growth. I might grab a slice of MOAT for a competitive edge which is why they have a performance edge over the index. But all these perform better in declines too. That's why I swapped SCHD for these since they grow better and I already have "dividend growth" through reinvesting SPYI, JEPQ, YieldMax, etc.
ОтветитьIt makes sense Domino’s was in MOAT, it’s a robust company, fundamentally. I did a stock analysis of it on my channel.
ОтветитьYou put really nice content together, Nick! Thank you
Ответитьamazing video, thank you. MOAT AND SCHG
ОтветитьMOAT and SPGP are two of my favorites, but it should be noted that SPGP’s portfolio strategy was changed to the current one in June, 2019. So, comparing its 5-year performance to the others isn’t really valid since it only has four years of performance under the current strategy. If I could only buy and hold one ETF, btw, it would be MOAT. It’s simply a brilliantly designed ETF that is based on fundamental research at M* and constructs two equally-weighted sub-portfolios, based on discounts to analyst estimates of fair value. Outperformance versus large cap blend category is great.
ОтветитьLove the list but rather than QGRO, I prefer CGDV. I own a lot of MOAT, SPGP, & OMFL. Take a look at FMIL.
ОтветитьThe Fed is no doubt at fault when they were too slow in controlling inflation in the beginning and now they are trying to do extreme catchup. The pandemic, the supply chain issues, and the Ukraine war all contribute to this perfect storm of brewing inflation. Don't forget the big spike in housing prices, that's another reason the Fed is having a hard time-fighting inflation. All in all, cash in king now and milk that high savings rate if you got the cash. Good times will only last so long and bad times will fade. I trade and hold profits keep up the great work! and also Aaron Addison has been doing a great job reviewing all chart, trade and techniques on BTC which has enhance the growth of my portfolio to 17 BTC lately.
ОтветитьSolid content here, really appreciate your analysis. Personally I am most interested in SPGP given its lower exposure to tech. I am considering pairing SPGP with QQQM (among others in my growth portfolio), because the latter can provide the tech exposure. I'm not convinced the tech rally will persist this year however; value stocks and energy may be the better positioned.
ОтветитьMOAT and SCHG make up a good part of my core portfolio
ОтветитьI was familiar with all of these except QGRO. I own SPGP and am am thinking about buying MOAT. One criticism of SPGP is that it bases growth on the past 3 years but not projected earnings. This may be why it is currently so heavy on Energy which has grown hugely in the past 2 years but is projected to have a slower growth rate of ~11% in 2024. Two other characteristics of these ETFs that are worth thinking about are management fees and dividends. SCHD is a standout from that perspective since the dividends are 3+ share and management fees are low.
ОтветитьI invested in spgp , because its methodology matches my personal favorite criteria
Ответитьwhat program are you using to compare the ETFS, looks awesome
ОтветитьThe video and content was great, but for some reason there’s a very loud cricket noise in the background. Other than that, awesome information.
ОтветитьSCHG and MOAT
ОтветитьCowz is good too
