I’ve been thinking a lot about where to retire lately. Between taxes, cost of living, and healthcare access, it’s overwhelming to figure out the best spot. I don’t want to make a mistake that could cost me my retirement savings.

I would rather live in Alaska than MN.

I live in rural southern Illinois, in the country and don’t care to deal with any cities!!! Cost of Living is cheap and I am exempt from property taxes due to my VA rating!!!!!

I've lived in SD and MN my whole life. Great states, but I have no desire to live here when I'm older. I'm 58 yrs old and dont want to be walking on icy sidewalks when I'm 80. Don't want a hip replacement in my future!!
