It makes no sense that a pro console looks worse than the original console. I also don't want to play with 10 different modes to choose from. This console was advertised poorly.

Was most interested in the upgrade for re village but after seeing how they did it I’ll not be replaying it. Pssr and 864p just don’t cut it with me. There’s no upscaling method that can make 864p look crisp on a large 4k tv. So far I’ve not been impressed with the console because my biggest complaint about recent games has been the low internal resolutions to push ray tracing. So you have games like star wars outlaws that the whole world looks blurry but you have some great reflections lol. I bet I’m not the only person that hates this stuff!

Nah i'll stick to my base PS5 slim I just bought. and leave the Pro experience for when i play on my 4080 Super PC.

864P??? Even my RX 7600 can do a higher internal res than that, it seems Capcom is just being lazy

Running at only native 864p on PS5 Pro is absurd. This is basically the same resolution used in many Nintendo Switch titles. There should be higher fidelity options on a console that much more powerful.

If you have a Pro you probably have a VRR screen too, that means that the 120hz Ray Tracing mode in Village ABSOLUTELY MAKES SENSE, just like all the other 120 Hz modes. You don't need CONSTANT 120 fps.

Also WTF calling for a 30 fps cap when the game runs at like 50-55 fps... that's insane

It's baffling to me that they go the extra mile to add pssr to ps5pro, but after that they don't take advantage of this new code to add fsr3.1 to base ps5 and lower the internal res thus gaining on performance and probably on quality too (if the drop isn't to agressive)...

I get the it runs better but the dip off on the base ps5 doesn’t make wanna spend 700 to reply the games…..like the re2 remake cutscenes do take a dip but its not enough to bother me…..

Hovering 80-100 with RT on is amazing on a vrr display, locked 120 isn’t really needed

It’s mind-numbingly stupid that Sony didn’t increase the HDMI bandwidth so we could run 120hz at Full RGB. All these 120hz modes are useless to me, because I’m not taking the hits to color pop and black levels on my OLED from losing Full RGB.

Given the amount of Pro upgraded games that are having severe image quality problems from PSSR, I’m not sure you should be knocking most of these for not using it.
