They don’t work with the government to improve the lives of the people of Zimbabwe.

I was listening when you were asking questions to Patricia Chinyoka.She could not answer a single question correctly than saying it’s time for ZANU PF to go.
SANCTIONS ARE THERE TO KILL PEOPLE IN ZIMBABWE AND THE OPPOSITION KNOW THAT ONCE SANCTIONS ARE ERADICATED THEN ZANU PF WILL SUCCESSFULLY IMPLEMENT ITS PROGRAMS AND WIN THE HEARTS OF THE PEOPLE OF ZIMBABWE.
Mdc is always campaigning and thus their ideology.Reforms are in progress and you know aljazeera that it’s a process not an overnight issue.
The road that mdc it taking to remove zanu PF is unconstitutionally wrong and undemocratic.
They are a very violent group and put the country into chaos.This is very unacceptable and teaches future generation a very wrong way of conducting political affairs in the country.They stage abductions and mdc uses human beings as shields and they cry of human rights abuse yet they are the ones giving young people drugs and beer to drink and burn police camps and toll gates and other properties just to attract law enforcement officials and they plant people in the crowd with short guns to kill one or two people then they claim zanu PF has killed people yet it would be mdc staging all the problems.
Chamisa refused to come to a table and talk to the President but when he is overseas he tells people that the President of Zimbabwe doesn’t want a dialogue with him.
Mdc is but just toxic.
There is no politics for progress in Zimbabwe.Chamisa promised before the elections that he will not respect the results if he loses and will make the country ungovernable.

Trevor pivots from the "regrettable litany of corruption problems" to Americas uneven handedness.. this is the quintessential problem with the mentality of those that are cosey with the ruling elite. They want to divert our attention from the primary problems which we should affix our attention on fixing to the external scapegoat that seemingly absolves us from the responsibility of putting our house in order first. How the US treats Pakistan and Egypt have no relevance to Zimbabwe at this stage, we need to sort ourselves out first before we start alluding to how the West treats others.. Great discussion but he failed to concede the reality that Sanctions DO target the population and NOT the elite. For the sake of argument if we assume that our government is hopelessly corrupt, these so called 'targeted sanctions' will do nothing to affect the corrupt individuals since the bulk of corruption is a mismanagement of public funds, furthermore they can look to the east when the west blackballs them. Economic sanctions has a horrible track record, the ONLY way it can cause change in a country is by wreaking so much havoc in a population that they cause civil unrest which is ugly. He needs to be honest, when the rich catch a cold the poor die of pneumonia

East African nations have seen a massive influx of used clothes coming frm US. This has a created a billion dollar industry for American companies.
Kenya textile used to employ 500k pple, now it employs 20k. In a bid to revive textile industry, Kenya, Rwanda,Tanzania etc all tried to ban importation of used clothe.
America threatened all those countries with trade sanctions. Do u pple read or ar u aware of what happnes outside Zimbabwe. Nichols is here to look out for America’s interest. SANCTIONS are the albatross on our national neck. Zimbabwe can't transact. Zimbabweans can't transact. Zimbabwe can't get any funding from anyone. I came across this indirectly when the HSBC BANK, after being heavily punished by the Americans combed all its clients to weed out any signatories and clients connected to certain listed countries including Zimbabwe. The Bank revealed the reasons as the American sanctions.
This man is lying through his teeth. Zimbabwe must be transparent and clean. Deal with corruption. Focused good governance will help drive our country forward in spite of the Western sanctions.
