Howard and Raj aren't superhero material. They're more of the diversion team that's used as bait

It makes sense for Raj to be excited about becoming Ratman; the creatures are revered in Indian culture, though not nearly as much as cows.

I’ll be honest, if I was in Howard’s shoes for the tarantula scene, I’d probably be peeing my pants too.

I like how after the scene transition, Howard walks up to Raj with this jar and planned questions leading to the test, while Raj has already dropped their earlier argument and just gives a friendly greeting. Howard would NOT let it go, while Raj probably forgot all about it until then.

I have to admit, Howard definitely deserves respect for willingly putting his hand in a jar with a tarantula in it without hesitation. I’m not afraid of spiders, but if I ever had to stick my hand in a container with a huge tarantula in it I’d have to wear very thick, powerful gloves to do it!!!

That is not a spider that is a tarantula there is a difference

Can you believe this your choice for superhero or sidekick 😃 look Howard is the hero because, he has to speak for Raj literally for years in front of women and dictates what they do together. This is made clear when Howard crashed girls night ( Think about that would Superman be tracked down at girls night making jewellery?)

Naturally Raj would be 'Rat man', besides their being 'kabbas', he got a warm reception from them in the college steam tunnels. For that matter, who couldn't see Wolowitz as 'Mouse boy', with Mickey ears and acting like the 'comedian villain' of similar name in Batman The Animated Series?...

When he starts blowing on it to make it go into the jar. 😅

Loophole: if you never put your hand in the jar in the first place then you cannot be at risk of taking it out. So you could win by default.
