On Vader's helmet, the part where his cheeks would be are actually colored asymmetrical. On the left side, they added shine to the front-most part. But on the right side, they added shine to the top part.

It's hard to see it because it was made intentionally for movie magic. It was to make Vader's helmet look darker.
