My initial thought while scrolling through was “that woman looks like she’s Gabby Hoffman’s mom or grandma”. 😳. In a way, I kind of respect her for just going with the natural aging process. I think think she could definitely use a different hairstyle and a stylist to shave some of those extra years off though

I don't know this lady and I don't know her story but I think it's incredibly unfair to expect a father figure in an actor who is just playing a role. I guess she was a child but to put that on Kevin Costner I think is a little unfair. While ray might have been a lot more paternal and form a bond with her it is not something that should be expected.

❤ the ‘flow’ of her career (she’s been a child performer/teen/young woman/woman actor). One of my fav performances from her is Strike/All I Wanna Do/The Hairy Bird. Yes the ONE movie has three titles; it’s about an all girls school/studio multi naming it makes it hard to find/decreases its chances of success, even retroactively!

I watched Eric recently… loved it btw… and I immediately knew she was that little girl from sleepless in Seattle. But what trips me up more is she’s my exact age. And remembering her as a little girl and seeing the impressive, mature actress she’s become gave me a jolt of … oh damn… we’re older now. It’s not the aging that was surprising. It’s just the juxtaposition that really highlighted that decades have passed. Oh man.
