Is this really news? Disney has been way too expensive for the average family for decades already, people are just willing to go into debt or forgo paying for necessary things like retirement and college savings. Our financial priorities are all messed up. Same thing with the wedding industry, if you're not a multimillionaire, why are you spending $40k on a lavish wedding? We need to stop normalizing luxury and live within our means. America, you are broke, start acting like it and be responsible with your spending!
ОтветитьJapan trip costs me less than a trip to Disney!
ОтветитьMickey mouse is like : "oh, so you think I've gone WOKE on my live action movies, huh? Well, WAKE up to these prices on my themeparks then."
The mouse always wins.
I hate that they keeping calling this “a magical experience” when the cost and WAITING isn’t. People will always come here but the insanity of it all is too much to bear cost. I wish they would do a reservation only system in which they reduce the congestion and give everyone who visits a chance to experience this theme to park. The $400 lightning pass cost is ridiculous and should be criminal.
ОтветитьDisney represents everything everyone hates about America. Walt was anti Semitic. Greed, capitalism and opportunistic. These 3 things everyone complains about yet feed it at the same time.
ОтветитьFunny how other people get cancelled for a single racist comment yet disney has DECADES AND HUNDREDS OF RACIST STEREOTYPES AND LANGUAGE AND NOBODY CARES?
ОтветитьThe only reason I got to go as a kid was my Aunt won a trip from a golf tournament she won. It as fun and worth it. Universal not so much bc everything kept breaking down
ОтветитьDisney is something to plan for. I’m going to plan 2 years in advance for mine. That’s if a BlueyLand doesn’t open.
ОтветитьIt’s not the price. It’s the woke.
ОтветитьIf Americans can’t afford it, it’s worth noting the rest of the world can no longer afford to visit America. Beyond USD ever strengthening there is the toxic tipping culture.
The Disney hotels are also awful and terrible value and the food across the estate mostly inedible.
Stopped going to Disneyland 15 years ago. Used to take the kids every couple of years. They priced me out a long time ago......
ОтветитьIt’s Pedoland.
ОтветитьGoing into debt to make Disney more money is stupid. And the peasants wonder why the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
ОтветитьDisney is pricing themselves out just like McDonald's.
ОтветитьTheres enough rich americans still going so nothing will change
ОтветитьYes, Disney indeed became a magical place. It's a miracle to go & enjoy the experience.
ОтветитьShouldn't you be pointing fingers at every company that continues to raise prices? I do remember during the bush jr administration, gas prices were changing numerous times per day which should be illegal. The price of food changing daily should be illegal. How about cable prices? Every app and every company continues to raise their prices but itt seems like people only complain when Disney raises their prices.
ОтветитьEverything got too expensive for everyone. Inflation made us all poorer
ОтветитьI would like to request a spending analysis througout the Maslow Pyramid. How much do people spend on the lower until the upper part and how does that change throughout the years.
ОтветитьAmericans think Disney ticket prices are unfair and too expensive? Go complain to Donald, he fix everything 😅
ОтветитьThis place is a total Rip off , everything you purchase is power intensive pricing , This will cost you for a family of 4 , 1000.00$ per day , do the math , You can go to an overseas trip for less or same$ , Do waste your time or $ 😝😝😝😝😝😝
Ответить$50 a child ticket?? Where? Last time I checked children tickets were only $5 less than adult tickets.
ОтветитьI wish these executive got honest with themselves about how expensive they are. They can’t because they are out of touch and lead with greed.
ОтветитьI would not give $1 to Disney.
ОтветитьIt’s so expensive. There is no magic at all. They should limit the amount of people in the parks. You will pay A BIG CHUNK OF MONEY AND YOU WILL NOT ENJOY TO THE FULLEST! I went there for my birthday, but Maybe I will not return. There was no magic. Only CROWDS AND CROWDS!
ОтветитьMe and my wife went for a week to Disney World and my brother and his wife went for two weeks to Spain, after all expenses added up, we spent twice as much at Disney, My brother went for twice as long of a vacation and this included there flights. And they spent haft as much as us. Now you judge for yourself, is Disney World getting too expensive?!!
ОтветитьWe went in March 2023 to Disneyland and let me tell you, it was UNCOMFORTABLY packed. This video surprises me.
ОтветитьGreed kills everything.
ОтветитьI agree with the title of this video. MY wife and I used to belong to the Disney vacation club. At that time, it was a great bargain. Everything that they told us about it was true. Our home resort was Boardwalk, which we loved!
We had 16 wonderful years of use and then sold it when we retired (We had no children)
Now, I have no idea if it is still worth the cost, but I know that without it, a week's stay for a family of 4 could run around $10,000.
It's too bad that the current management lost sight of what Walt had envisioned for families enjoying the parks together. Now it is just a big cash grab and sadly, my wife and I have chosen to keep the memories of our times there untainted by some of what we here are coming out of the parks.
We knew someone who worked for Disney for years and for most of them, loved being there.
But then the suits bowed to "political correctness", and she saw the once friendly work environment turn hostile and toxic, so she quit.
I took the family to Hawaii for two weeks for the same price as ONE week in Disney.
ОтветитьThe people claiming Disney is now too expensive are the same people who thought Ron DeSantis was amazing for cutting Disney’s tax status in Florida. Seriously did you really n think Disney would choose cutting profits over increasing prices?
ОтветитьNo way. I’ve subscribed to him since he started. Cool to see him here
Ответить“No poors allowed.” - Disney
ОтветитьTL;DW: Yes.
6-month update: They raised prices even more.
Some people will spend money on Disneyland or Disney World but not pay for health insurance or save any money for their retirement. It happens all the time. Talk about priorities.
ОтветитьYou won’t see me.
ОтветитьSay it with me: Corporate greed!!
ОтветитьI wish Disney would go back to the ticket booklets they used to have with A-B-C-D-E tickets. Was passing through Orlando this past week and just wanted to see that new mine ride and maybe space mountain. Was a bit embarrased and heart broken when I decided not to enter when they told me admission price was 190 dollars. Just to see two attractions. I hope I did the right thing
ОтветитьJust $106 is all it cost for me and my girlfriend, parking, admission, food, souv. That was July 3, 1976. Today??? Don't even go there?
Ответить“happiest place on earth” is purely a brainwashing slogan the company created for the kids, so that kids can persuade adults to bring them there.
A. The price is insane obviously
B. How is lining up 3 hrs for a ride even enjoyable? You’re basically paying to stand in place doing nothing.
C. Everything in Disney is all about money and business. I personally have never felt magical in Disney parks. The place is driven by materialistic consumerism, and every minute feels like my pocket is being robbed.
Been to Disney land after we got married then went again when our son was 6, it has been 7 years now and I don't think I will be going there again, universal studios and knotts berry farm seems alot better option.
ОтветитьAnd I certainly don't want to go to Orlando, California is enough.
ОтветитьDisney bled billions in movie loses ( thanks Kathleen Kennedy) so they got to make that up elsewhere, therefore high park costs.
ОтветитьMy oldest brother works for Disneyland. The idea of keeping the prices high is actually supposed to be about keeping gang members out. (That's the official line they give employees.) And yeah, when you go to lower priced places like Knott's or Magic Mountain you find more people who'd be stereotyped as gang members (but probably aren't). Anyway, that's how Disneyland justifies it.
I get in for free because, again, my brother works for them.
“What would Walt do” lol they have not asked themselves that in a very very very long time.
ОтветитьOne day, people will be visiting this place freely.
ОтветитьThey have number crunchers and demographers who chase the money for them. When all the data is in, profitability results only when catering to the rich.
ОтветитьIt was beautiful in the past. It is absolutely not worth it anymore...
ОтветитьWe don’t go anymore because of the cost and services sucked
Ответить
