Living Sustainably Can Improve Our Quality of Life

People often talk about protecting the environment as if it involves a lot of sacrifices in our standard of living. My own experience has been the opposite, that there are nearly endless things I can do in my life that both protect the environment while improving my quality of life. A lot of these things save a ton of money too.

When we start thinking about sustainability as a "win-win", it's a much better motivator. I would encourage you and others to start thinking and talking about sustainability and environmental issues in this way, and then diving into making choices that both improve your standard of living AND protect the environment.
