DAD GEORGE

we all called him Dad
out of respect for elders
Dad George died today.

2
he’s father-in-law
to my sweet sister Edith
he was a sweet man.

3
a train mechanic
and muscleman in his prime
he lived a long life.

4
he had a good run
he died at age ninety four
God bless his sweet soul.

NOTE: My brother-in-law Steven Graziano has been in Florida since February attending to his dad George, who along with his brother Bob, moved their dad from his home to an assisted living facility. His health has been going downhill and he passed away in hospice care this morning at 9:21 AM.
