Speak with the language of your partner to ever make a step forward to whatever you will both intend to attain.
ОтветитьThis has nothing to do with globalization. Maybe globalism, but not globalization.
ОтветитьAmazing presentation, so so so good!!!
ОтветитьShoutout sa mga BSCE-1A diyan HAHAHAHHAHA HELLOOOO
ОтветитьHello classmates
ОтветитьCultural diffusion as an outcome of globalisation is indeed, in and of itself, a 'false friend', but globalisation is not defined entirely by the supposed interdependence of culture, it driven by trade that catalyses the interdependence and gradual homogeneity of economic and political policies and rules. Empathy and understanding of culture as a form of 'intelligence' may help to catalyse respect or mere tolerance, but we may not necessarily create that safer world without ethics, conscious capitalism, and an acceptance of diversity and differences.
ОтветитьVery useful, thank you. Is it possible to have the transcript of this talk?
ОтветитьTrue we need cultural harmony for peace.
ОтветитьI absolutely HATE this video!!!!!
ОтветитьWrong title for this video. Well planned.
ОтветитьCan someone send me the reflection paper they write about this video?
ОтветитьPeter Alfandary was doing just fine from paradoxes to dilemmas but his solution is off base. one cannot solve cultural issues in cyber space. They can only be solved in real life out there among humans
ОтветитьBravo‼️
ОтветитьShout out po sa BSCE -1B JAN
ОтветитьHello BSCE 1-A
ОтветитьSubcultures help to alleviate that sense of shock/disparity.
Ответить...driving a cab...what it means‽
i am no sure if it is not me who is talking...
What a great speech. I learned something today.
ОтветитьGreat speech. This was a masterpiece.
ОтветитьGlobalization is here to stay and the root cause is greed by the rich of the world. Money talks!
ОтветитьThe public didn't seem to get some of his jokes
ОтветитьPOV;GRADE 10 KA
ОтветитьYes I think the same thing. Well said. I would say that cultural intelligence is the key to everything. If we learn cultural intelligence, maybe there will be no that much of problems inside the relationships?
ОтветитьAwesome, I really enjoyed it!
ОтветитьOf course it's TEDx when it unites Humans.
Wonderful Man! Gonna do a video soon, I used this for college graduate paper.
...
ОтветитьThese videos are interesting because they help us learn about different cultures and so that people recognize and respect each other
ОтветитьI would recommend reading The Silent Language by Edward Hall (1959) and the Hidden Dimension (1966). Both books explore the cultural differences discussed here. These should be compulsory reading for anyone dealing with people -- everyone.
ОтветитьTHIS IS MY ASSIGNMENT
ОтветитьAnd today, Putin ended globalization.
ОтветитьLmfao "the myth of globalization" while here we are 7 years later and the world economic forum and other globalist elite are talking about GLOBALISATION!
ОтветитьSharawt sa mga BS-PSYCH 2A da hahahahhaha
ОтветитьPASEN LAS RESPUESTAAAAAAAS!!!!
ОтветитьBravo! Such a charismatc man talkig such an important thing.
Ответитьbro this was 7 years ago. still relevant.. especially now
ОтветитьGreat talk. Merci merci beaucoup papa Peter pour votre Grande sagesse.
ОтветитьThis speaker was ahead of the times. Some countries now crawl away from globalisation, to protect their own interests, after realising they can't compete economically or technologically on a level playing field.
ОтветитьThis dude spends so much time talking about practically nothing. The whole thing could be summed up in less than a minute
ОтветитьIntroduce myself my name is Ariful Islam leeton I'm software engineer and software development and website development and intelligent community and students funding United and Recissing United States
ОтветитьBut what if we try to create a world consisting of a single identity (a citizen of the world) will we be able to overcome conflicts?
ОтветитьInteresting topic, wish it was no clouded by poor quality audio from the mic. Could hear every breath, shirt rustle, and mouth sound.
ОтветитьI think it's good to be aware of varying cultures but I don't agree that we should try to accept or affirm others' culture. This idea is what has gotten us into the mess of the trans movement, a movement that has been sexualizing children. I don't accept that culture and it should be eradicated from the globe altogether.
ОтветитьThank you! It's amazing how seemingly small gestures or phrases can have such diverse interpretations.
Ответить"Do you want to go or don't you want to go"? This just seems to me to be a lack of common sense. So you hail a cab, get in, ask if he can take you somewhere, his answer should have just been "yes, of course". No. It seems to me we are making up excuses for bad attitudes.
ОтветитьThis is an inspiring work of creativity; reminiscent of a book that inspired with its creative narrative. "Rising From Within: Unlocking Your Innate Power to Conquer Adversity" by Vincent Starling
ОтветитьI gotta say, I don't think the suggestion to teach cultural intelligence to everyone is a workable or realistic goal. First of all, it seems only truly needed for people doing international business. Second, there are so many different cultures, it would be like having a half dozen PHDs. Ain't nobody got time for that.
ОтветитьThank you! Very interesting and still pertinent today.
Ответить14 minutes in what could have been told in like 5
