Here it is 2025 and my Honda Accord sport 2021 gets 36.1 mpg. I love that I bought mine at a $10,000 less price point than its hybrid brother and it still gets that kind of gas mileage. That average is highway, freeway, and city driving while running my air conditioner and in Econ mode full time….and it is central and northern Alabama/Georgia/Tenneesee here….which means rolling hills because I live at the southern beginning of the Appalachian mountain chain, so take that into consideration too when you read my mpg. We do use the gear paddles on steep roads. Wonderful! However, Warning!⚠️ no Sirius XM or Navigation on the 8 inch panel, of the Sport trim is a real downer owning this car. We do have Android Auto and Apple CarPlay available, but they they are not completion to SiriusXM. With this trim you have to buy a MagSafe phone holder and use Android Auto’s google map for navigation. No Sirius XM if you drive through states it is a real bummer, not getting a clear signal on your fav football games…this is SEC country, and seventies rock. In the future i’d look for the Accord trim models that feature Sirius XM and navigation on their newer 10” dash screens.

A relative is only considering one now as there are some good incentives. Personally it's growing on me.

Honda please bring back a manual option trim.

Watching this in 2025 so sad now that because of the LA fires that legendary pink house is now burnt down 😢 truly sad times ! I didn’t even expect to see that RN

As the satisfied owner of a ‘21 Accord Touring 2.0T, I have not really been interested in the newer Accord Hybrids. However, my Dad just bought a ‘25 Accord Hybrid Touring and I must say that I am quite impressed. The car has a lot of strengths and features that surpass my ‘21. The thing that it misses though is in the fun to drive category compared to mine. I would liken mine to an 8 month old Labrador Retriever wanting to go out and run and play with passion and eagerness. The ‘25 of my Dad’s would be more like an 8 year old Labrador just wanting to go out for a leisurely stroll. However, for what the Hybrid’s mission is, I have no complaints. It’s super smooth, very economical, roomy and a totally comfortable car to drive. If that’s what you’re looking for in your daily car, it’s hard to go wrong with the new Accord Hybrid. It checks a lot of boxes.

What I disappointed about this hybrid is its small fuel tank 12.8 gallons. The gas version has 14.8 gallons why can they just kept it it’s the same body???

At first I was not that impressed with the new design but now I am. Its not a car to flash or impress other people. Its a quality spacious car with a conservative look.I think it fits with my personality. I was thinking about a CR-V hybrid but since I want to sleep at night and not think about having it stolen every night, I am more incline to buy an Accord that has a similar interior and same engine.

My only concern is the potential reliability problem from direct injection design. I am currently doing short trips everyday due to remote work but who knows when I have to drive 80miles per day for office. For short trips less than 15mins per day this car will build up carbon in engine and cause all different problems.

it's a great car, and my local dealer is marking them down 3.5K off MSRP for the touring trim which makes it a GREAT value for what it is. i can also get a sport hybrid for $32.5K which is a steal IMO. offers more than the new base Sonata at the same price.

I rented one for a week and loved everything but the seats. They feel like your sitting on a checkbook beneath your tailbone. It’s very odd. The seat cushion slopes back and ends in a flat spot which you notice immediately.

I understand that these guys wouldn’t get cars to review if they actually criticize, but they must have noticed.

Honda Factory Associate here.... Yes, you are more than correct about features like heated steering wheels and such. The CR-V for example has rear heated seats in the canadian versions, but the american ones do not get rear heated seats at all, interesting eh... unfortunate for americans living in colder climates, im guessing colorado or buffalo would be good examples.

I got a 24 Honda Accord Hybrid Sport (Base trim). I love it so far. Great MPG I average about 50mpg in the city and 44ish on the highway. I get better mpg on highway when you use cruise control and put it in ECO mode.

My only complaint with the car is there is no heated side mirrors unless you upgrade to the sport-L trim. Which is a few grand more and you get leather seats. Heated side mirrors should be standard.

The car has some pep in it's step for sure. For a hybrid!

I was in LA and I rented an accord. I liked everything about it. But it was definitely not a quiet car. Why do you guys say that? In fact, compared to my 2016 Mazda 6 or my Hyundai sonata, the Accord is quite loud. I had to increase my own volume to talk clearly to people on my Bluetooth device.
I went specifically to the LA Auto show from the east coast to see the new Camry in person. Came to the conclusion that the Accord that I was driving which did get 43.9 miles to the gallon, was a better choice. Because all they did to the darn Camry was changed the front and rear end the side panels are exactly the same. That's not a real redesign like I would have expected.

It seems like every commenter forgets what this car is made for when judging it online. It’s a cheap daily driver, not a sports car. And in that regard, they nailed it. Way more comfortable, higher quality, and way better looking in my opinion than any Toyota sedan currently on sale. It’s a dramatic improvement over last gen’s terminator styling, and even that was better than the ugly Toyota sedans available right now.

The problems I find with the 2023 Honda Accord: 1. No All Wheel Drive is available 2. No heated steering Wheel is available 3. No spare tire is available 4. No XM Radio. If a 2023 or 2024 car missing all of these features works for you, then get one. Hopefully, by the time 2025 comes around these glaring deficiencies will be resolved. Latest news as of January 2024 is that you now can purchase a Spare Tire Kit from Honda for about $500.

At that price point I'll opt for a Model 3 and never ever have to drive to a gas station again. I was an Acura customer for 25 years. I just got sick of all the stupid gas car maintenance, as well as the hassle and cost of buying gas every two weeks. Who cares about the wheels or the ride, it burns gas and that makes it terrible.
