Let’s take a hike along the Florida Trail in the Withlacoochee State Forest at the Citrus Tract. Out here in this beautiful wilderness it’s neat to see the karst and limestone formations, caves and sinkholes throughout the area. The trail leads through many areas with rolling hills and scenic nature. It’s part of the natural geological formation here known as the Brooksville Ridge. An ancient ridge of limestone and karst that extends along western/central Florida. Withlacoochee State Forest is a great place for hiking and many recreational activities it covers a large area and is one of the state’s biggest preserved areas. It’s nice to be able experience these places as they are truly majestic. Thank you for watching and enjoy!
