The creepy cutscenes actually remind of meeting real life criminals, it's scary. Maybe they did this on purpose, the dark environments and freaky looking people really adds to the danger of dealing with real life thugs. Wish there were intimidating first person cutscenes in the future games.

This is a real vibe of an old game from the unknown studio "DMA" at that time. Short cut scenes, with the sound of a computer hissing in the background during voice acting, and with poor pronunciation of certain accents, with pauses and repetitions....it adds to the atmosphere.
