Never occurred to me to paint those damn peg holes, excellent pro tip
ОтветитьGood evening,
Greetings from Germany,
wow....I see the video 5 years later, but this is exactly what I want for my Star Trek collection in my cave.
GREAT JOB FROM YOU! PERFECT
Only one question from my side. I see your custom display case from IKEA is black!?!
In Germany only dark grey, white and classic wood exist.....is black currently avialable only in US or was it only for 5 years available !?
To remove stickers have you tried using a hairdryer to warm up the glue to pull the sticker off more easily?
Ответитьa humble 670 subs to almost 700k. good job!
ОтветитьThanks alot man will definitely be making this for some of my statues
ОтветитьThis is one of those videos where I have to say something. Everything you mentioned at the beginning of the video, is what I have thought to myself while trying to figure out my office space with all my collectibles. I have collected things since childhood and recently just moved from Japan, so I have a lot. I work on my displays every single day. Just a couple of days ago, my wife left me and we began the divorce process. I immediately started to regret who I am and the things I like, the fact that I want to make a room out of things I love and think maybe I am wrong for it. But to know others share those passions and understand how amazing it feels to not only collect but organize and display their passions shows me I am not crazy I’m just passionate. Thank you so much for posting this content, and great job to you.
ОтветитьWhat’s the exact measurements for yours case and shelves.
Ответитьnah.. this was such a good video.. I was looking for this exact type of vid.. you explained everything so perfectly and the amount of detail and passion you put into this is just great. thank you for taking the time to teach us noobs how to start our journey
ОтветитьHas anyone used this for a long time. I just build mine and I'm always checking the pins if they are holding the weight okay. I feel like one day it's gonna crack and fall.
ОтветитьThe black PAX has been discontinued :(
ОтветитьThanks much for the video post! I'm definitely going to have to try this for my models.
ОтветитьSearching for the pinned comment to find with led lights you using then or now
ОтветитьAs a major note with this kind of thing, just go get the black or white craft paint in the craft store, don't use the citadel or other hobby paints for this kind of thing, it does nothing extra and costs a heck of a lot more.
ОтветитьGreat video!!! Very thorough and great editing!!!
PRO TIP: a rubber mallet and/or a towel is great for hammering/protecting those little pieces or securing sections together.
PRO TIP: using the packaging cardboard underneath the completed shelves helps it slide over the rug.
What are you doing now that Pax has been reduced to just white?
ОтветитьAny ideas for making this fire resistant?
ОтветитьYour naruto collection is so fire. I want all of them!
ОтветитьNever would’ve thought to paint in the holes for a cleaner look. I always just lived with the unsightly exposed wood look. The LED wood trim pieces combined with wire covers is an excellent look. Nicely done.
Ответитьdamn looks so nice!!! what about the glass ?
ОтветитьI am 15 and I am completely jealous of your room set up my room isn't even that big to fit the collection and my computer in
ОтветитьMay I ask how much weight does the shelf can hold? thanks!! my statue is pretty heavy.
ОтветитьFirst I Want to say Great Video very informative. Two, Might I ask where you were able to get the Figures from lol Now That I am Collecting a lot I want some of the big scales as well
ОтветитьNice work👍🏽Thanks for the ideas
ОтветитьHey where did you get those extensions for led lights??
ОтветитьA little heat will take it off easily✌🏽
ОтветитьAmazing.
ОтветитьGreat job! Thanks for the informative tip
I personally don’t bright white light it made my display stand look like aquariums so I changed them to warm white as a natural sun light
Is there any issues with the Komplement shelves sagging in the middle under weight?
ОтветитьCould you post the parts and links where you bought everything
Ответить"I really enjoy clean wires. I don't like things to be hanging around dangling everywhere"
Looks at desk in same scene 🤣 this was an awesome video and very helpful for those trying to come up with ideas 🔥
Best idea yet I’ve seen as a way for me to store and use my 3d printers
ОтветитьWow I have two statues now, another on the way and awaiting the invoice for my Natsu statue - all thanks to you. I want to build my own case and this has given me some great inspiration. I've always enjoyed how your statues are presented in your videos, but knowing you put this much time and effort into a simple ikea shelf makes me appreciate them even more. Looking forward to the 2nd part. I'll probably go with acrylic too - glass is sexier but a sheet that size is quite heavy. No kids for me but acrylic likely a great choice for more than one reason lol
ОтветитьThanks, this will help me a lot with the next project
ОтветитьThis is Awesome Mate! Well done indeed and thank you for sharing your skills with us...Cheers, The G-Man!!
ОтветитьBam thats cool
Ответитьwhere can I buy those led strip? Thanks
ОтветитьTrying to find the led you use to light the cabinet, is there a link? Thanks!!!
ОтветитьHey bam, any way you can link a updated place to get the correct LED lights?
ive decided to try and make your IKEA detolf and im a bit overwhelmed atm
This is pretty much exactly what i had in mind to display my Title belts. I gotta ask the obvious question, how much are those display cabinets?
Ответитьman i would absolutely love to make one of these my self, but know for a fact im not able to do it myself and got no-one to help me so that really sucks.. i really need a display case for my figures
Ответить👍
ОтветитьFor sticker removal, take from an ebay reseller, use a hair dryer. Get the sticker warm and it will strip clean.
Ответитьi just wanna ask is it ok to display the figured in open air roof top of the house? thanks in advance
ОтветитьAny idea where to get the LED Strip Light Mounting Brackets for the light bar? Old link no longer any good….
ОтветитьWhat I do about that stupid seam on the backboard is I buy cheap fabric sheets for insanely cheap, and just place them between the shelf and the backboard. Seams, gone. Any color you want (I do a dark grey). A matte finish on the back is a lot less distracting than the semi-glass surface most bookshelves seem to come with. More durable as well. I've scratched those backboard, but the fabric tends not to show marks like that.
ОтветитьAnyone know how much weight each shelf can hold given the metal shelf pins he uses in this video? Thanks in advance :)
ОтветитьRich boyeeee
