I would not buy a truly ugly bike. No matter how well it goes. Its a fail on design, totally ( for some of us ).

These big bikes are awesome..but I am scared of being harassed by Indian traffic cops on every turn. Even a loud exhaust note from an original cylinder seems to be enough to give them enough reason to harass bikers!

Test rode a 1300gs. I will not going from my 1250gs to 1300gs. I am 6' 3" . So the bike js smaller and my 34 inseam was tighter.

My 1250gs has ovwr 20k km and perhaps has loosened up a bit more.

Standing up the rider triangle is smaller .

Now i talk about the M1000r naked ..... mind wrapping

I recently rode the 1300 but my 1250 is much, much more comfortable!

What about the other models of the GS 900, 850, 800, and 750. Big and bulky vs lean and agile. 1300 Is just an overkill for most.
