Cool vid, You're the first one I've found that played this game even behind. Sad you won't get to experience 1.2 for a while but your reaction and insight has been great. At least 1.7(chapter 6) is still available.

Even though the writing and localization overall for R1999 has been generally getting better and better with every new patch, Chapter is still one of my favorites just because of all of the emotional pulls the chapter brings.

On a side note: are you planning to check out the current 1.8 event? This one is a self contained story that has little connection to the main plot (aside from mentioning certain organizations). Think after completing chapter 2 that you should be able to do most, if not all of it after comparing the level requirements (the last fight also sets your characters to late game level characters so you can test some interesting stuff).

The character Desert Flannel actually has a tamagochi.
