Saw the blue logo got excited as I thought you had a second channel. Cool watch
ОтветитьNICE WATCH GOOD PRICE I LIKE IT
ОтветитьGorgeous watch! But for me, omitting a date complication on a true gmt, defies half of the purpose of that true gmt. Gorgeous and priced well, but no date is a dealbreaker for me.
ОтветитьPeter, did you know that the Occitan place name Mirabel (Southwest France) means "marvelous" or "that which is beautiful to see"? I wish this new Héron all the best, although I'm not a fan of dress watches in particular (the Marinor and the watch straps I acquired are top-notch). Tastes and colors are not discussed. Just like your lack of affinity for Roman numerals, for that matter. But why is the number 4 written IIII and not IV on some watches? Another opportunity to use my internet search engine! With pleasure
ОтветитьI consider a GMT as a travel go anywhere watch, so 50m WR isn´t enough for me. The look is beautiful
ОтветитьVery nice watch, thanks for the review! In my humble opinion, it would be even better if they got rid of the double inner circle (inside the Roman numerals) and also of the cross sector marks. There is too much going on in that small dial. In this case I'd think less would be more. My problem with the Roman numerals in this watch is that they are only half Roman, they also use batons that look like the number 1 (I) instead of several numerals, which makes for a strange mix.
ОтветитьI like it. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьThe Romans do help further differentiate from the 24 hr scale Arabics 👌
ОтветитьThank you for the detailed and thoughtful review — we truly value your insight and enjoy collaborating with you.
ОтветитьHats off to Heron, really interesting and fun design here. Tough to be unique these days but as far as micro GMTs go, this is a really cool effort
ОтветитьIt is a nicely designed watch but a little too shiny for my personal taste.
ОтветитьGmt watches with no date….😒👎🏼
ОтветитьAll Héron are sold out 🤷♂️
ОтветитьAgree, agree.
ОтветитьI like it. Kind of like it, that is, love what Heron are trying to do and love that they’re being a bit different. I was already a fan of their Marinor and this one has something that I had been looking for a while - a white enamel dial - love that choice. I don’t love the cabochon and don’t think it suits the watch with its impeccable 37.5mm case, which kind of warranted 18mm lugs or even 19mm? People need to get over the obsession of the 20mm lug distance considering we’re going back to smaller watches but stubbornly trying to keep the lugs at 20mm ruining the balance IMO.
ОтветитьPeter, watching your videos is becoming way too expensive for me! This will be my third watch I've purchased because of your review (i.e., once this one becomes available in a few days). I have multiple watches with the Miyota 9075 and I love them, but actually needed to find a dress watch version, and that white dial will be perfect (I often go to large meetings where I need to speak to other consultants and sometimes present and my diver's watches don't always cut it!)
ОтветитьI’m with you on Roman numerals, I prefer Arabic numbers. I understand this is a dress watch, but no lume on the dial is a deal killer. Also watch is a bit small for my wrist.
ОтветитьNot bad looking at all. I think I'd put a blue suede strap on this.
ОтветитьVery nice. Glad it’s a traveler gmt. The office is for me a no no. I do like the Vario a lot though.
ОтветитьFirstly Peter I think this is a beautiful watch! I’ve seen a couple of reviews already & this white dial for me is the pick for legibility. But I really like the black dial too. As for the use of Roman numerals, I think it’s very well done! Don’t you think it’s time to move on though? I’m referring to the Roman numerals now. What happened between the Romans & Greeks was such a long time ago. Just let it go ok?🤣😂
ОтветитьHonestly, not bad at all... a Miyota 9075 is around £125.. plus the blued hands and the gorgeous dial... not bad at all.
ОтветитьHaving a large collection of watches, this Heron GMT hits the mark for many of us tired of the whole diver, sport, and aviation watches that we already have way too many of. Kudos for Heron taking a big chance on it. I think it will pay off. I hope so!
ОтветитьNice bang for the buck for sure. Very classy and extremely well finished. That lug to lug is pretty small for a modern watch. But that's ok. Nice for every wrist to have options.
Shame about the strap though. It really does sit odd.
I love the dial it is classy and elegant.
I wish the GMT hand was blued.
I strongly dislike the case shape and finishing. I would rather see this dial movement combo in a case that suits it better more dial less case like some of the German microbrands do.
I also dislike the blue dot on the crown a nice signed crown would be better
It's all business on the leather and fun on the white strap. Great price and look from Heron. Top video Peter 😊
ОтветитьThis is one of the worst type of watches, cheap materials, but wants to appear expensive or even luxurious.
ОтветитьNice looking Watch. Thanks Pete 👍
ОтветитьThis is a great looking watch at a reasonable price. I think Roman numerals fit the design.
Ответитьhi peter! hows thiings?
will you be doing a review on the new Sinn U18 limited edition?
This is just about the perfect size for me, and it looks great. Very tempted to give this a shot!
ОтветитьThis watch is very nice but like you, also not my cup of tea. Especially the Roman Numerals. I definitely prefer the Vario Empire GMT over this one. Although this is very nice also. Thanks!
ОтветитьFirst b roll footage and I was saying to myself “Get rid of the Roman numerals, increase the size of the Arabic’s and I’d definitely consider this”.
ОтветитьMarinor was way more exciting
ОтветитьBTW Pete, I ordered myself the Kotsa inspired Tüseno Shellback. Can't wait.
ОтветитьRighto, Heron.. now let's see this design in a three-hander 😉
ОтветитьOnly Cartier can pull off Roman numerals. Even the Rolex Datejust Roman numerals look wrong.
ОтветитьI've just clicked through to the Heron website, and EVERY watch they produce is sold out. Why do they bother sending out pre-production pieces for review if they've already sold everything?
ОтветитьWith you on the Roman numerals.
ОтветитьI wouldn't mind having one govna
ОтветитьMy Heron Marinor might just be the watch i wear the most so it's nice to see that their follow up is also a winner. Even nicer to see a newer Canadian brand making a name for itself.
ОтветитьNice video as usual and for some reason I really like this watch. I too am not a fan of Roman Numerals. I have a Cartier Tank Solo and it's the only watch I have with the Roman Numeral. I might make an exception for this watch with a white dial.
ОтветитьHonestly a beautiful dress GMT it’s a shame that the strap didn’t break in Delugs are a quality strap no?
ОтветитьThe Roman 6 is upside down. The 9075 is a date movement. Any ghost position?
ОтветитьAlso not a fan of Roman numeral watches in general (although for some reason they perfectly suit Cartier dials). The sans serif markers on the Heron are more attractive than most, and the white enamel dial coupled with the blued hands is a great combination.
ОтветитьHave to agree with the Roman numerals, I’ve yet to see a dial with Roman numerals that doesn’t look cluttered. This looks good though.
ОтветитьThe dial is really odd, evokes a California feel but at least it has symmetry, but no date, if used for travelling the date is even more important and could have comfortably sat down at 6.
ОтветитьReal nice.
ОтветитьI'm new to your channel but am really enjoying your reviews. This is a really nice looking watch and quite reasonably priced. Thanks for the tip!
