You've inspired me and I've started my own flipping journey a couple weeks ago! Thank you for sharing your knowledge! ❤️

Can you please do a video on how to take care of the INSIDE of drawers? I haven't found much content on that anywhere (other than using furniture balm) and I'd love to know your thoughts on things to look out for - what levels of wear are repairable and how to take care of it, etc. Thank you!

Hi Lauren! No matter how many videos I watch, I always learn something new. Hoping I get the chance to meet you and Neiman when I am one of the chosen!! LOL!! I had the same type of furniture when I was little--white with the gold trim. Brings back memories. Take care and I will keep watching and learning!

What is the best varnish or stain stripper in your experience? Asking for my 75 year old aunt. She just ask in our family group text for us to recommend a stripper. 😳 I had to read the whole text to know that she didn’t want a real live stripper. 😂

Having said that love your channel.

...Another great piece by you, Lauren. I just have a curiosity question. Why didn't you scuff sand between coats like you usually do? Is it because of the type of paint that you used? Just wondering for learning purposes. Thanks. :D

Great piece! I have a single night stand a little squattier than this one, and wanted to jazz it up a bit. It hasn't sold in the original color (yellowish). I'll be going out shopping for Silk paint tomorrow! Thank you!

Do you think to add paint you could use a paint roller for painting and then go back over it in more detail with a brush? I'm trying to get started.

Turned out pretty you could have put a little shelf down on the bottom that way perhaps she could have put a faux plant down there or some books I'm sure you could probably still add just a little shelf just made out of plywood and paint it

Fyi, love your flipping tips, now i have for you; take a flat head screw driver and poke holes at the lid of your paint cans. You'll avoid paint drips down the can, I put holes all around my lids, the paint drips back into the can. Ive learned a lot from you. Thanks so much.❤

Do you have hints on how to find local flippers? I'm in Indianapolis. My daughter has a low dresser and a tall dresser that are solid wood, and they deserve to be restored. Neither one of us has the time now so we're looking for a local flipper.

To not calculate in the time spent working on a piece of furniture in order to sell it shows a shameful lack of basic accounting skills. Even one hour spent in total ox worth at least $15 to $20 in opportunity costs. I would expect better than that by the two of you.

Thanks so much for this very helpful video. I'm the family catch-all for unwanted furniture. I love my Mom dearly but her taste ran to French provincial, so that's what I grew up with. And I can't stand it. So I've got these two matching end tables and as curvy ornate as they are, I'm hoping the right paint job might make them more appealing to me. The hardware is very ornate as well, but it's good quality and I hate to toss it. I'm thinking of going with a mid range sort of grayish blue for the table and I'd like to paint the hardware maybe a pewter color? Can you recommend a good paint for transforming metal drawer hardware? Thanks again, appreciate it!

Hi Lauren, I LOVE your videos, since I found you, I have fully renovated my kitchen, walls, cabinets drawers, hardware etc. I wondr is there a place you answer questions? In an effort to finish my kitchen and after seeing my accomplishment, I've decided to re-apint a hutch in the kitchen that is currently painted an olive green, I thought about sanding and repainting without stripping it looks like only two colors before this and is not an antique so it's super smooth, just wondering, do you always have to completely strip furniture that is already painted? I will be going to the site to learn, buy guides etc. but wasn't sure where to ask. Thanks for all you share and your details, honesty etc!

I understand it came with another piece of furniture. But for $30, you add in let’s say 3 hrs minimum work with sanding and painting at a low rate of $20 per hour and your at $60 of hourly, paint cost and initial buy cost of $30. Total profit of $10.

I get it’s a learning video tool as well. But the cost shouldn’t come down because you gained two pieces for the price of one. You gotta raise your margins and make less friends. Business is still business and if I did this all day I would make $30 a day.

I’m sure you’re making money somewhere but it was lost here if you ask me. People don’t understand time and effort and don’t understand cost of sandpaper or machines especially since sometimes machines break.

I've painted a couple of night stands like this the first was painted black so I used Krylon spray chalk paint in a turquoise blue color. I only used one coat plus the sealer. That was 4 years ago and still looks good and I used a gold trim.

What is the material of this nightstand? It doesn’t look like wood, it looks like a finish on it with the white and gold. I’m wondering what makes you decide to sand all the way to the bare wood versus this where you just scuffed it? Aside from the end result look you’re going for, is the base material your deciding factor? I hope these questions make sense! Love this completed look of this nightstand!
