I still cant believe Bretonnia is an actual faction in WH F. When I first saw them in a Total War battle video (my first contact with WH F by the way), I thought it was some kind of "joke mod" somebody made who is a fan of Monthy Phytons Holy Grail because the whole faction was so comically out of place.

Their dumb french accents combined with what I can only call a mockery of the story of King Arthur and not the least their unit roster which is just all kinds of "reskinned" medieval knights (in a fantasy world where there are Giant Statues tall as a Building shooting laser from its eyes and even gattling guns and rocket launchers....yeah, having just medieval knights in different colors is sooooo "exciting") really puts me off immensely from this faction.

Sorry but when I see Bretonnia, especially alongside Factions like Chaos, Elves, Lizardmen, Skaven etc. all I can think of is "what the hell were they smoking"?

Damn they screwed this faction over. Consider that a single grail knight is holy super soldier with unmatched combat skill, superhuman strength, and regeneration, yet they aren't even the best cav in the game.

The trailer of TWW 3 is out, and it looks awesome ofc, with Kislev and the Chaos and so on... but I was instantly brought back here. This is so well done. A simple fellow human, armed with vows and fighting bravely evil foes way more powerful than him. And yet he CHARGES! Sums up 6th edition Bretonnia so well, at least the matches I played. I also kept the same vibe while playing the campaign in TWW. Hordes of knights charging. Never fleeing from battles even at the cost of certain death, because HONOR! The most memorable campaign I played in the series. I will never forget freeing the Empire, turned into a Chaos wasteland, and meeting the demons for a final epic charge.

New Medieval III Total War is looking good!
