Thank you for your work Elliot!
ОтветитьAs usual Mr Overton you are a wealth of information.
Every time I listen to you I learn something new, so you are not beating a dead horse.
Keep shouting it from the roof tops.
Thank you
God bless.
I’ve been taking the Benfo and Ttfd now for nearly 2 weeks. I feel my mood shift to a little more motivation for a few hours after each dose, I also notice my body temperature rises. Having hashimoto’s it runs really low. It also relieves some anxiety and pain. I am also taking extra b vitamins, magnesium and added a glutathione supplement as well. When I started I did not have any obvious paradoxical reactions so I rapidly increased my dosages of both. I notice the mood lift and other benefits doesn’t last but for a few hours, or less. I’m thinking of taking less but taking it more often. Being I’m an insomniac I’ve been scared to take it at night in case it contributes, but perhaps I will tonight because I may have less anxiety?
ОтветитьDoes anyone know what is the thiamin protocol for SIBO according to Elliot?
ОтветитьI have been experimenting with his protocol and having mixed results with high doses of thiamine so playing with different types of B1. It has been 6 weeks. Anyone here has found that they need longer than a month to see some improvement with gut/systemic regulation? Wondering whether it's worth persevering. Thank you, All
ОтветитьCan a b1 deficiency create low ferritin possibly
ОтветитьWould eating 1 Granny Smith apple that caused brain fog and body pain and dull headache be a red flag ???🚩
ОтветитьWish he would just give a protocol
ОтветитьA special thank you to the host for not making it all about you and needlessly interrupting.
ОтветитьPlease mention a good brand of vit b1
ОтветитьThis guy is a genius, this is the only thing that helped
ОтветитьIt blew my mind when he said that test results will not show you are deficient in B1 even if you are bc certain areas might use it more. I require B1 supplementation and I did not test low for it in my blood and inside the blood cell . My POTS cleared up between that choline and l carnatine
ОтветитьHi i have ibs c, hoping this works for me? Would i need to take b1 thiamine forever or is this a short term treatment once you get better you can stop using?
ОтветитьSure you would (or should) have a bowel movement if you take magnesium with the B1, magnesium is a laxitive!
ОтветитьThank you guys you all are wonderful ❤
The Enlightenment Era😌would be nothing if there wasn’t any *light*🌞
🙏Please shine bright🙏
Very true. Years of terrible diet, PPIs and antacids overuse, antibiotics, other medications we are given by MDs that slow motility, stress.
ОтветитьI have SIBO..B didnt fix me. sorry.
ОтветитьMy husband has been diagnosed with SIBO snd H-Pylori (Hydrogen not Methane) but he has had diarrhea for about 15 years!! Nothing they did worked at all. Will B1 help with this and, if so, how much per day. I have tried everything I could find that might help. Nothing has worked 100 %. Currently I have him on a mostly gluten free diet , collagen and soluble fiber rwice a day. Back to diarrhea ( just water)!! Help.
ОтветитьThis treatment would be for digestive issues with constipation, not diarrhea correct?
Ответитьim in the 3d of using thiamine and for the first time i see results, i have problems with gut health, history of h pylori, constipation, diarrea. Before i take antibiotics, herbal treatmants, black seed, cabbage drinks and nothing works like thiamine, i hope this vitamin have for me long results. You are life saver mate
ОтветитьJust fantastic! ❤
ОтветитьThis is crazy!!! I’ve been virtually bed ridden for the last 3 years. My main symptom that’s unbearable is stomach pain/cramps, but I got so poorly with so many other things, diagnosed with POTS, and high diastolic Bp on exertion, severe double vision and blurred vision, muscle pain, such severe fatigue i couldn’t dress myself and felt like I was walking though treacle, I have had diarrhoea but sometimes randomly constipated but not often, balance issues, dizziness, nausea, pins n needles in my arms and numbness in my legs, fluid retention/edema but my heart has been checked and ok, tachycardia, chest pain and palpitations. I’ve been misdiagnosed by so many different hospitals and doctors. It seemed to have started after I had sepsis & c diff and nearly died, that wiped out my entire immune system, I also have bowel adhesions from endometriosis and although I’m over weight as I’m unable to hardly move & was put on special soups from a dietitian as I can’t digest any solid food, the soups are PACKED with calories. But before hand lived on potatoes, rice, carbs basically. I came across Elliot’s video and started on 900mg of benfotiamine and I kid you not within 12 hours I felt the best I’ve felt in 3 years!!! My stomach pain was the best it’s been in years and I also added in b12, vit d & k2, a b complex & magnesium & allowing and I keep getting better & better and actually went out for a meal for my daughters birthday yesterday which again I haven’t managed in 3 years. This is definitely no coincidence. My GP knew VERY little about it and said he’s happy to prescribe me high dose thiamine but I gather this be water soluble and think the benfotiamine is surely better? I have noticed things have not been improving as much this week and want to try thiamax ttfd. But I have a few questions about it, and whether I shud use high dose thiamine from my doctor and ttfd together, I’ve tried to email Elliot and comment on his videos but no reply. This has changed my life and saved my life as a week before I found Elliot’s video and started thiamine , I thought about ending it all as I couldn’t take the pain anymore. And still don’t understand how thiamine deficiency can cause such severe stomach pain? I am still in pain but as it’s only been nearly 2 weeks I’m hoping it will keep improving over time. I didn’t know what type of doctor is experienced in thiamine deficiency so I found it’s usually a neurologist? So asked to be referred to one. I forgot to mention I had a brancial cyst removed from my neck also 6 years ago and it’s been mentioned that there could possibly have been damage to my vagus nerve! I’m on very high dose opioid for my pain otherwise couldn’t live in such pain, and I don’t know if the opioids are causing possible gastroperasis or it was already there from damage to vagus nerve. But I go toilet 3-4 times every morning so didn’t think that my digestion was slow? But don’t understand it enough. I just don’t know where to go from here, how long to take high dose ttfd or benfotiamine, is 900g enough if so how long shud I take it for, shud I be taking all the other supplements or shud I ask for a blood test to check my levels. My doctor said he didn’t know of a blood test for thiamine, so I don’t know where to go from here. It would be really helpful as Elliot’s videos have pointed me in the direction that’s literally saved my life but now I’m stuck on where to go now and he doesn’t reply so I am so worried things will go back to where they was. Which was living hell. Thiamine deficiency should ALWAYS be thought about with all these symptoms, and even without a thiamine deficiency it don’t hurt to take it as a supplement anyway to at least see if there is a difference. In my case there was a HUGE difference in the first week. Would really appreciate anyone’s advice especially Elliot’s if he sees this 🙏🏻
ОтветитьEverything he is saying is so incredible... I know it all first hand. Thank you for this guest... he is a wealth of information I wish I had known years ago but better late then never!!!
ОтветитьWhat if you don’t have a thiamine deficiency ? Or any deficiency at all
ОтветитьI'm a nutrition professional who graduated from the same college in London as Elliot. He succinctly, precisely, concisely encapsulates the learning and passion of our industry. I wholly endorse him as our messenger to the world-at-large. Keep up the amazing work, Elliot!
ОтветитьDoes caffeine deplete thiamine too???
ОтветитьThe pill I have is 5mg B1 per pill....people are taking 40x that??? how??
ОтветитьWhat is the recommended dose for Gerd? Can we be deficient at 35 yo?
ОтветитьI mean can we give a standing ovation for this channel and the interviewer!!! Not many these days understand the key to an interview is shutting tf up and allowing the guest to shine….
He never made it all about him, he allowed the gold to be gold without interruption and I stayed for the entire hour because of it….
Most of the time I have to click off interviews because the person interviewing is so truly annoying….
Thank you!! I have hope again for my gut but also humanity as a whole!!! 😂
Suffering from gut issues, sibo, IBS, food intolerance, dizziness & poor blood circulation for many years. This video has encouraged me to take thiamine supplements. I pray it will help since the gastroenterologist couldn’t do much except for recommending digestive enzymes & low GI foods. Such an awesome & educational hr of watching this video. Thank you.
ОтветитьMore than 20 years of agonizing gut history which converted to dizziness and tens of other diseases Elliott talked about DISAPPEARED after taking thiamin for 1 week. Following his protocol which includes B complex and magnesium/potassium and I cannot tell you how grateful I am to find this guy. I mean OMG !!! No practitioner could identify this and I have suffered a lottttttt. From IBS C to vertigo to anxiety to what not. I don't remember when I felt this good or you can say "NORMAL". Thank you so much for this !
Ответитьhmmm. Had a feeling this guy was selling something. yep, his vitamin and protocol. hmmmm.
ОтветитьHow do you take Benfotamine with a regular B Complex supplement?
ОтветитьIt worked for me! I'd been having sibo symptoms for a month but taking B1 has brought me back to near normal. Amazing. Thank you thank you!!
ОтветитьMy question is what is the negative side effects as I am going to take it and 91 years old
ОтветитьWhen I stopped eating gluten diverticulosis & gerd stopped❤
Ответить1 question I have with regards to the all of nothing effect is if you take a dose below the threshold for a long time, will it slowly replace the deficiency. I can't afford to risk a bad paradoxical reaction.
ОтветитьElliot, please answer this question. I have posted it on many of your own videos as well. Is the fat soluble form of B1 a risk for someone who has asymptomatic fatty liver? Should they only try thiamine HCl?
ОтветитьAwesome information, got one more gem besides dr berg and dr ekberg. Humanity is living because of u guys.
ОтветитьI remember a while ago when I would get a reflux attack I would drink down a green spiraleana drink and it would stop the reflux for a while, it has high b1 in it that’s probably the reason lol
ОтветитьI tried everything, nothing helped, spent tons of money on tests and supplements and still bloated as hell, unable to live a normal social life.. God bless you if this will help me..
ОтветитьI ordered this max from amazon. Still not yet arrived
ОтветитьI’m taking thiamine and benfotiamine, but not sure it’s being absorbed, as I can smell it in my pee. What’s going on?
ОтветитьLike your work
ОтветитьMayo clinic, johns hopkins, cleveland clinic and 50 doctors Ihave many diagnosis's (SIBO, fibromyalgia, IBS, MCAS, mal nutrition). Im only able to eat 5 foods. Im carnivore. Scores of testing but never B1 even discussed. I have severe gut pain if I try to increase food variety. Im just starting TTFD slowly now. Looking for desperately needed relief. Im a Diabetic 2. TY for this much needed new pathway. Will update you if it helps. 😊
ОтветитьI have also been on a merry go round of -
Doctors
Specialists
Emergency
Naturopath
My problems started after the vax and worsened after Covid infections.
I have tried many supplements & medications & told -
FIX YOUR GUT.
Nothing made any difference.
I have just started on B1
I will titrate up as I’m highly reactive.
I've had SIBO and gastroparisis for 13 years. I'm 69 and I thought I was doomed to suffer this the rest of my life as the medical world has no cure for it. Also, I determined that my arthritis is caused by my messed up gut. I'm going to be starting on the benfotiamine tomorrow. I've been taking a lot of supplements for my symptoms many years and 8 months ago I had a period of about a week where my arthritis disappeared and then came back. I thought it was a supplement I was taking that helped but didn't know which one. Then I found these videos on B1 and figured out that I had taken some B1 during that time. I'll update the results in a few weeks. Hoping for a new life 😄 🧬.
ОтветитьSo how long would someone have to take B1 for....the rest of their life?
Just curious
I only could find the Thiamine B1 HCl 100 mg. Is this safe??? I need to take it until i can find the other one that starts with the letter B
