Dr. Freels of Lexington Podiatry excitedly removes a year's worth of taffy-like build-up on a patient's toenail. She has never seen this before!
The patient has been using an antifungal called Penlac on his toenail for one year.
Penlac is supposed to be removed once a week with alcohol. Unfortunately, the patient was unaware of this and never removed it, causing an unbelievable amount of buildup on the toenail, so much so that it started suffocating the skin around it.
Watch as Dr. Freels uses a nail nipper to remove the buildup and see what is hidden underneath! 👀
