Chester Bennington’s Bandmate: Linkin Park Singer Was Hit Hard by Chris Cornell’s Suicide

Weeks before Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington was found dead, his bandmate, Mike Shinoda, detailed Bennington’s emotional reaction to the suicide of Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell. Bennington and Cornell were close friends, so Linkin Park decided to perform “One More Light” in his honor.
