NEW CAMP PETS Are NOT What You think! | Fallout 76 Latest News

This seems like a rough, recently finished and unpolished feature. The petting looks more like the player is waving at a blind dog, letting the pet know where the players is at (if it wasn't because they know by smell), though waving would still make sense at a dog that completely ignores you, and even when getting petted, keeps looking forward while doing what it looks like marching. But Bethesda scores again in achieving one of their signature features - making things in the game unintentionally funny.

Kinda annoying they add dogs and cats to your camp before sentry bots

Everything will always just be a camp decoration whether it stand still lmkvethrought your circle...to be honest that's dope

Now most of you that follow this page get it. Most of the stuff we have gotten, we don't need and what we need we don't get! Like there no reason there a restriction on the daily CAPS we could earn. Or the amount of script, legendary weapons we earn in events and etc.. Seems like all Bethesda wants to do is re label stuff and sell in game merch. DTG Gamer finally said it, by now 76 should be so much more! Have you noticed the gamer playing game now just want to rush through everything. Too many times events are being failed because no one's doing the requirements, they just want to shoot. I have scream into the ether for years, Flip the worlds Vaults Dewellers must dies into an entry world of ranks 1000 and up but training wheels only- Power Armor. And that world would be PVP. Take the Builder world and flip that into 1000 ranked none power armor world for elite gamers. Plus, No one has explained to us yet, why giving us less legendary loot in Eviction notice was a good thing to do.

Resources not being available in shelters makes sense. You'd make workshops irrelevant so cant do that however why the flip are we not able to place down non-resource versions of items in shelters?!?! Like the acid butterfly sanctuary

It's exactly what I expected - a useless, buggy, budget hog for the camp. Disappointment is the exact word to describe Bugthesda and 76.

Another crap update I see Bethesda needs to start adding more useful things to the game.

Just what I expected and wanted. Players running around with their pets at public events would've been a nightmare. Can't wait to buy some atom shop stuff for my pets.

wish bethesda would sell the rights for fallout to a company who isnt useless

So if u say they are in the same spot as allys can u only place an ally or a cat/dog or can u place both

so can i keep my deathclaw and get a cat?

It looks like another camp item that I won't use. I'm looking forward to the perk card changes.

Leave it to Bethesda to do the bare minimum. 3 years after removing pets from the roadmap and this is what they've cooked up.

Was never excited about them because i never expected them to be anything other than a camp decoration that kinda walks around.

Pay to win game. And a money grubbing game I ever seen. They make a lot of money from the atomic shop, but yet make people pay membership I find it BS. And half of the stuff that’s in there don’t work.. such as the new weather station Halloween sounds like a airplane landing and it’s 1200 atomic points that’s a bundle size and it’s bs it should be 700 atomic points. But they have to get their wallets fat off people. Half of the stuff in the atomic shop is not worth it and is broken. I’m saving my money. I’m done playing this game. Use my money for other stuff that I need and that’s worth.

Just another lazy way of having pets...but bethseda will always have the atomic shop working

Exactly what I expected, another half assed or bugged feature. Could be improved by the time full release but it's Bethesda, so...

Camp pets? Cat and dog? Where’s the more unique pets?

I can see why we cant put collectrons and resource producers in shelters, but why cant we put there decorative versions those produce nothing
Why cant we have allies in shelters, yes, makes it easy to go to each and collect buff.. like if swapping their tables was that much harder.. if pets do bring you stuff again, they could disable this in shelters, actually even buff offer could be disabled in shelter if that is game breaking issue

So… They are set to IRL Cat Personality by default. Lol😅

Sorry but this "pet thing" gets too much attention. If you want a pet, get your self a (real) one. I don't need pets in games. This is not the sims and I'd rather have Bethesda focus on REAL content.
Or is this just another low-effort thing, that is being hyped for a month?
Bethesda? Listening? Fix the AP-regeneration bug (or pick any of the other hundreds) and make NEW content instead of fooling us with pets or recycled quests made "content"! - cough-caravans -

Bethesdas AI pathing often leaves much to be desired. The atlantic city escort, caravan brahmin, now this. You can even see the pendulum swing from super erratic, to a little off kilter to almost absent with pets. Massive overcorrection?

If you have a Deathckaw camp pet and some wolves wonder in... will the Deathclaw shred them or stand around, looking menacing??

Id pay 30$ for a sentry bot to guard my camp. I cant be the only one wanting this this bad.
