Ответитьciao vendi il motore completo ma senza il foile? prezzo?
ОтветитьHow is the motor underwater, is the motor and cables waterproof
ОтветитьI believe the cheapest one of these is around $4,000 😢
ОтветитьYou are brilliant, I love living through you vicariously. Especially since I’m too old, broke and literally have thrown most of my life away up to this point. You’re actually a genius. 😊
ОтветитьDude if you could take your motor in production as a add on a foil.. Complete set.. You could make a lot of people happy.. Especially watersporters over the whole world.. You would earn some seriously money..
ОтветитьHola .
Me gusta tu entusiasmo.
No hay que desistir !!
Yo he hecho muchos injertos marinos con motor.
Y esos motores Brushless.
Se puede hacer de todo.
Jijiji !!
I want to build same. I already have everything but the Battery. Are 2 6s batteries enough??
ОтветитьAlright alright alright. I've watched like 10 of your videos. I owe you the sub. Thanks for your content.. it's fun and inspiring.
ОтветитьCool project!!! What did you use as remote control?
ОтветитьI love his idea I will create an electric surfboard with the same components using two motors instead of one and readapting the components with propeller propulsion
ОтветитьWhy you didnt try to ad a gyroscope inside
ОтветитьNo clue if you read this but being a naval engineer i noticed two things, first of all your motor shroud makes the motor and prop wayyy less efficient. if you want one to protect the prop, do one without much of a profile thats not longer than max 0.3x the diameter of the prop. Usually when those ducts are optimized for thrust they are flipped inside out (like an airplane wing with the top side on the inside, they then create lift pointed to the center of the shroud and slightly forward, creating thrust from the forward pointing lift component) but they only work for low speeds with high thrust (like a tugboat). Second thing is your mast, i know taping the cables is janky but you add a TON of resistance by doubling the surface area of the foil mast. Janky is better than having a ton of drag! (it may seem a bit counterintuitive coming from aerodynamics since the air resistance is so much lower but for water, water contact area is the worst enemy). Anyways, great project!
ОтветитьI'm not sure but is the electric motor running under water?
ОтветитьVery cool, we can't wait to see the new version!
Ответитьeasy hydrofoil for someone that gets given everything to make it.
ОтветитьSome people are designed to use keyboard and mouse ) That’s fine
ОтветитьDIY a GPS trolling motor ! They cost $3-5k ….crazy. Make one for $300
Ответитьthanks for this video, i have been looking for a diy solution to efoiling
ОтветитьYeah. Double motor
ОтветитьHow did he made that motor waterproof? Its just a generic skateboard motor, which will rust and so on??
Ответитьengineers should not be testers. get someone to know what there doing
ОтветитьAnybody have guidance on connecting the speed controller to a remote?
Been toying with building a version myself but cant get past this step in theory as a novice.
I was thinking this area looked familiar and then I saw the Skyway. Nice! Welcome to Florida. Edit: well, welcome 9 months ago. 😂
ОтветитьOkay cool. But, if it costs 1000$ to start with a foil… i just cant. Please go back to the one you made out of wood and make it work. ❤
ОтветитьKeren
ОтветитьWouldnt some dihedral in the main foil male balance easier for beginners just like a self leveling airplane?
ОтветитьHi. Great vid. Can anyone share the link for the DIY ready kit he bought?
Ответить🎉
ОтветитьTo me, it appears there are two balance points. One point when you're in the water and one when you're on plane. So the problem will be that you need to transition to the "on plane" position instantaneously... which you can't really do. If you redesign your board with just one balance point, you can remain fairly steady while the board is on the water, and you don't have to make a quick adjustment to get into flying position.
ОтветитьThis looks amazing, around a month ago I designed my own before seeing this video using multiple rc car brushless motors, I was wondering if anyone has built this version and has a part list for it so I can also make it and compare the two?
ОтветитьGreat projecté
ОтветитьWhat do you think about modifying an electric trolling motor. Most of what you need is there.
ОтветитьHey did you ever figure out what was wrong with the crazy foul towards the beginning? I have one of those as well and have been struggling with it. Any advice?
ОтветитьWhat about doing this with a with a dinghy
ОтветитьI used to go to sea for oceanographic research. I was an engineering tech so I was responsible for ensuring our systems were ready to go into the water. One thing we used to waterproof components in a box was to fill it with mineral oil. The mineral oil is thermally conductive but not electrically conductive. We filled boxes and cable housing materials. Mineral oil is fairly benign is regards to environmental problems if anything leaks or spills.
ОтветитьI stumbled on You Tube site:
Yvonvite
whom is an active Pump Foil athlete.
Watching him and his friend travel distances w/o motor assistance is pretty amazing.
It really takes a lot of physical effort to keep the hydrofoil up out of the water and moving forward.
efoils are really getting popular, i have been testing them last years!
ОтветитьAwesome. Most interested in the thruster
ОтветитьHis physical acumen is astounding! natural talent :)
ОтветитьVery cool
ОтветитьCould it be done with a paddle board? Probably easier to stand and ride.
Ответитьhow long do the lipos last on this setup?
ОтветитьMake an elevator and rudder for it. Use a drone accelerometer to make it auto stabilize.
ОтветитьThe foil labs domain is no longer active. Does anyone know if they moved to a new site?
ОтветитьThe real ones are like 5ft x 24 in wide & say 4.5in thick for boyancy. Once up on foils it doesn't Matter one bit.
ОтветитьMAKE HYDROFOIL KAYAK
ОтветитьHi Peter I’m just wondering whether you could help me with the parts and soldering of an autonomous RC plane. I am thinking of using the. FLIGHT CONTROLLER F411-WTE as my flight controller and I was just wondering whether you could send me some soldering maps of the flight controller that are easy to understand.
