I still can't even open the rockstar launcher to play since the 19th of nov. update with "Rockstar Launcher Failed to Initialize", amazing how they cannot find a fix for that and they just keep asking you to perform useless troubleshooting that they should be doing and fixing, basically being a tester for their incompetence with the patches, and im not alone, there's a lot of people on Twitter and Reddit in my situation since that update and still can't play, i've tried every possible fix from reddit, YT and Twitter and nothing worked, the only thing i didn't try was to reinstall windows but im not doing that, f**k them, im not reinstalling my whole OS because of their f**k up.

I just started (level 30) plating the online mode last week. I was delivering mid grade moonshine last night when I encountered my first trolls/griefers. I was near a Revue Agent checkpoint and and my wagon suddenly blew up. I was launched through the air and then shot dead by an Agent. I respawned to see four human players slaughtering the Agents. I rode up to the group to see WTF was going on and was hit with an explosive that killed me and my horse. After my respawn I checked the nearby players list and found four guys in a posse, one at level 516 and the other three in the mid two hundreds. They were stalking players in popular areas (moonshine shack in the Bayou and camp in the Heartlands) and wiping them out. They killed me one more time near my camp before I left the lobby. I had heard of people like this being asses online but it surprised me that it still happens.

My ground texture was looking like that (towards the end of the video) and it was because my game save had corrupted

My crew and I were having Difficulty connecting with our mics.

That is a good place for a camp when playing solo. You'll get revenue agents on the road and close by you have travellers surrounded and needing help. At the hanging dog ranch you're clearing hideouts and moonshiners. Lots of shooting going around :D. And in the mornings moose spawns close by your camp. I'm playing with ps5 and yesterday it took 5 tries trying to connect to the game.

I am from GTA online, i am edging close to 40 years old i have played every single GTA game ever made since all release dates.

I can say red dead online is so much better and more fun, much more interesting too, less toxic, less dramatic. Im 500 hours in on red dead now been playing for about 5 months roughly and im so addicted i love it.

Its not a dead game either i always see people in lobbies, jobs are always full too and if they are not they soon fill up i play on playstation and its very alive.

I dont understand what peoples problems are saying its dead? Its boring?

I rather roam around on a horse looking at the beautiful game than driving a car on gta being blown up by mk2 oppressors or tanks or people off radar in godmode.

I very rarely get attacked on red dead but on gta its constant no matter the public lobby you will get attacked as for red dead people are so much more friendlier and less kids are on it too which is a bonus as its aimed at adults not children. 👍
