what is not spoken about it is the true administration cost of operating a fund...after setting up legal which is about 30-50K+ then you have the admin fee some run a monthly fix cost some run based on how much money is in the fund and how many investors. Here is a simple break down to run a fund from an admin prospective it 0-$10Million will run on avg 75K per year. if your fund has less than 10M you are losing money even if the performance is there. take the cost now of operations. lets say the fund makes a return of 25% on 10M that is 2.5M lets say the hurdle is 15%, how much is really being made well the GP gets 20% of the difference between the hurdle which is 10%. 20% of 1M is 200K. take the manage fee of 2% on 10M= 200K plus perf 200K = 400K now take admin cost and operations cost and taxes there is little money left for the GP, that being said its a starting point.
ОтветитьIs bridger the only one showing you and giving value on you tube about how to launch funds
ОтветитьThis was extremely helpful!
ОтветитьBridger have you ever discussed offshore funds? As a non US citizen it would be interesting to learn more about it
ОтветитьCan I open hedge fund incubator in the US if I'm not a US citizen? If so, can I get investors from my country (Mexico)?
ОтветитьUnfortunately in Germany there are nazis. A doctor said i was mentally ill because i said i wanna launch a fund. Nazis are a disgrace we get imprisoned for nothing we get thrown into psychiatrys for nothing. I hope imma make it to usa one day and can live a nazi free life.
ОтветитьThe volume is low
ОтветитьBridger does a fantastic job of breaking down the intricacies of fund launching and syndication, and the fund waffle concept is a brilliant way to visualize the roles and responsibilities involved. I love how he uses real-world examples to illustrate his points, especially the story about meeting Ray Dalio. The advice on learning strategy and building teams is essential for anyone venturing into the fund world.
ОтветитьMan, you killing it!
ОтветитьI’m 52 hoping to end the rat race by 60 with above $1M. I know money is a liability to be exchanged for assets with real value like real estate (properties for rent) stocks (dividends) bonds (interest) But, what is it with bitcoin? I hear a lot about it and I'd love to diversify my portfolio.
ОтветитьHey Bridger, starting a Hedge fund but I’m confused on who to hire first
ОтветитьFabulous presentation. I’m 40 and starting from ground zero.
ОтветитьHi bridger. I’m a 14 year old who lives in Australia, originally from the UK, and I am hoping on moving back to go to uni. I want to start a private equity fund in London after working in the field for a bit. Your vids are great 😊
