It's a great show with great acting and great writing. But I'm sorry, food at a restaurant shouldn't be this important. It makes no sense.

Sydney is objectively bad at her job. She’s expediting in this scene yet she’s barely audible. Whether or not she was trying to talk to Marcus he isn’t hearing her and she isn’t picking up on that, it’s HER job to be understood. Someone has to be in the middle.

It’s no shade on her as a chef, but this has been a consistent character trait throughout the show. Sydney buckles.

While I personally didn't like how the last episode was handled in basically reversing nearly everyone's character development. I think Sydney finally understood what Carmy was going through. One day made her throw up from stress. Let alone years.

Last episode felt like they comically forced the tension up, forced a conflict by locking carmy up like it's a Saturday night cartoon, and many characters felt off. Especially with how good the season was up to that point. Felt weird. I'm really hoping they redeem it in the next season.

Marcus is being such a stupido

I’ve watched this closely and Sydney is actually speaking as she was running a very busy expo! They are both busy and I don’t think she was purposefully ignoring him. Why would she be mad that he asked her out? She seemed more awkward about it than anything else, honestly this did seem like a silly way to create more kitchen tension and quite out of character for Marcus. I think it would make more sense for Marcus to wordlessly place the bread down and Sydney asks him why he hasn’t announced eta and they get into a scrap that way instead of this outburst.

I like the instrumental music played in the kitchen! I hope they release it sometime :)

The way the music constantly switched as the camera moved from the kitchen to the dining area and back was brilliant. Made them feel like two entirely different worlds
