I’m shocked at there views of life after death especially the scientists when the 1st rule of science is “ Energy is never destroyed but simply moved from one place to another” Energy=Spirit or Soul

Life after death? Do people realize there has been millions of life forms and humanoids before us? Do you think they have life after death? I would love to think so. But the reality is humans only think about life after death when it comes to us. The other species and the others who came before us don’t.

Everyone showed some humility. It was much easier to watch than other episodes, where guests talk over each other. Pleasantly surprised.

The relationship between religion and science has been at different times friends and other times have been bitter enemies. Take for example Giordando Bruno. He was a Italian Dominican monk and he was very devoted to Catholic Christianity but at some point he began to question and challenge the views, beliefs that the Catholic Church taught and turned to science, philosophy, astrology and alchemy and at some point he publicly renounced the Catholic faith and afterwards he was arrested, put on trial and he refused to repent and he tortured and burned at the stake. And I have a friend of mine who was born and raised in a Catholic household and as he got older, he was struggling with his Catholic faith and turned to science and I was trying to help him come back. And this what he said. He said that believes in science but he also believes in the Catholic faith as well. So my guess is that science and religion can’t be bitter enemies but rather friends. And sometimes I find that hard to believe. I have a hard time believing in science but I don’t have a hard time believing in religion.

Science isn’t a belief, it’s a method of disproving and understanding. It can’t really be compared to religion.

This gives me a lot of comfort knowing that people are capable of being scientific and following scientific theory to explain the reality of the universe but we can still be religious if it gives us personal comfort.
