Thank you for reacting to this lovely song by Dan. I know Dan calls himself a metal singer, but I have come to the conclusion that he is more of a musical artist. He uses his voice as a brush on the canvas of his songs. Sometimes it’s a very light touch that keeps it original (as he did here)or very close to the original piece, other times. it’s a much bigger and bolder brush that changes and colors the song to ultimately make it better, and sometimes he does a complete redesign of the song, but even then, the original remains part of it as he is truly quite deft in his ability to reimagine music. I truly consider the day I first discovered his music a blessing.

I love this performance but I’m even more impressed with his performance of Gethsemane from Jesus Christ Superstar and Nessun Dorma from Puccini’s Turandot. Both are basically traditional with no metal element. He’s classically trained and you can definitely hear it and see it. Hail VascNation ❤

Love Phantom of the Opera. I cannot go back and remember how many times I saw it on Broadway over the years. Dan did a great rendition of this song❤❤❤❤

Dude, you need to watch the show before featuring the song, you will understand more. However, having seen it professionally 7 times, including some of the most famous actors playing Phantom, performing some of the music, and memorizing the score, there really isn't anything I don't know about it. And I'mm gong to tell you that Dan sings this song better than any of them. I was nearly dismayed to realized that when I first heard it a while ago, because I had my favorite for years. But it is what it is, and Dan slays it. I would give everything I have to see him do the whole show, that's how good he is. That is not an exaggeration. He can sing anything, in any style, in any genre, from any period. Those kinds of performers are BORN, not trained. Since I no longer have the opportunity to see Pavarotti live as part of my bucket list, Dan Vasc is now on it. Listen more, but be more aware of the story behind what he's singing.

Great reaction.i am glad you could appreciate this song. Dan’s voice here is so flowing and gentle in parts of this. It is so different than his others. It is a master piece of singing and performing.

❤❤❤ after watching him for 8 years... he still gives me cold chills with this and others that he has covered. No training in the theatrical field... which I'm sure plenty of people before me have told you... Dan is a natural ... this man is unbelievable ... he knows exactly how to perform a song and have it reach out and grab you, and pull you into the music... he puts so much emotion into each performance...his voice, his face, his body language, his hands, he uses all to bring the music to life.
He brings me to tears with some of his songs and I'm not the only one. Some make me want to sing along... some touch my heart and bring tears. Others make me want to join in fighting what ever the foe is. Some make me want to dance.
Dan is a very many faceted man... I love his music... everything he's ever done. And I am not alone, the number of fans of this man grows with every passing day. Thank you for your reaction.
