Celtic Link Ferries began in 2005 when two groups of people came together with a common problem... That common problem was that ferry transportation to Europe was too expensive and infrequent from Ireland. Celtic Link Ferries was formed to insure that Ireland's transport requirements could be fulfilled conveniently and cost effectively.

Since 2005 Celtic Link Ferries has grown to what is now the only ferry company that sails to the continent all-year-round.
