Lovely
ОтветитьForced rotation all the way
ОтветитьThey have the grey and blue back in the big box stores here in America m. There’s a store called Lowe’s that carries their entire lineup now I think it’s on the 24 volt.
ОтветитьFantastic channel I've learnt alot from you John thanks mate ❤❤❤
ОтветитьYour videos are always so insightful and intelligent. Thank you for your contribution to the education and development of the community!🌺🚌🏐
ОтветитьWhat cordless drill do you use john? I've almost completed flex except for the drill and I need one and the smaller 10.8v battery version you have looks perfect.
ОтветитьI just bought a PXE-80, what I am to say if they release a new one 🥲 FOMO hard.
ОтветитьEDIT: I commented before watching the entire video...derp. It will be interesting to see how the adapters integrate with all of the tools, and how long they will continue to support/sell 18v tools/batteries.
Flex announced back in April that they were going to offer an adapter to allow you to use the new 24v batteries on your existing 18v tools. This is great, but the adapter is a bit clunky and makes the tool longer overall which may affect the balance and ergonomics.
I'm sure the new 24v platform is going to be great, but its kind of sad to see that they will be manufactured in China rather than Germany. Obviously the 18v tools contained global components so they were never 100% German, but it was nice to have a tool that was at least assembled and partially produced outside of China. I'm sure the quality will still be excellent, and they are offering a 5 year warranty, but its just one more change in the global marketplace.
Nice video john, according this i texted you more recent info i got from flex management of europe and uk on patreon
ОтветитьIt’s all in the USA, at a big box home improvement store called Lowe’s.
ОтветитьNo one tell him Flex 24v has been out for a few years now.
ОтветитьMy guess is that the existing lower voltage tools will be just as effective as the newer higher voltage. If I had 1000s of pounds worth of Flex tools I certainly wouldn't be worrying about replacing them all with new coloured slightly more powerful ones, total waste of money. A lot of polishes advise no pressure......yet here we are suddenly needing more power? I say stick with what you have.
ОтветитьNot “Car detailing” products as far as I’m aware….at this time
ОтветитьCordless is far better than having to keep a cord over your shoulder
ОтветитьExactly the reason I did not jump on the battery powered platform with flex. They have by the sounds of it wiped out their existing customer base and expect them to upgrade.
ОтветитьLike you, all my detailing and DIY tools are Flex 10&18 Volt. I guess we will all have to wait and see, but as long as the older batteries are available, it should be okay.
ОтветитьThe 24Volt stuff is the american stuff.
The new polishers in Europe run with the same 18Volt batteries as the older ones.
Where do you get your Flex vacuum bags?
ОтветитьThe new Flex polishers are already availalbe to pre-order, my XCE and PE 150 should be here in a week or so. They are still 18v and red.
ОтветитьGetting hold of flex accessories, etc, has been a nightmare of late, possibly exacerbated by them needing to supply Halfords, maybe the revamp has been behind it all.
ОтветитьI have the whole Flex line of 18v polishers. It would be way too much money to switch for just a small incremental gain in performance.
ОтветитьYour batteries have any kind of leak ?
