Killing me EpicSnuggleBunny, four weeks into waiting for my North Fork to ship
ОтветитьFor a hunting knife I like a clip point with a nice point for field dressing animals, but I like a drop point for skinning an animal. The mini crooked river seems like it would be a great knife I like the size of that one.
ОтветитьI want both versions but I don't hunt the closest I come to skinning anything would be maybe trimming up some pork shoulder for the smoker. 😂
ОтветитьIf it didn't have those orange accents, I'd probably have one.
ОтветитьI got a full size in gray G10, I paid pretty much full price which I don't do often for off the mill knives. I LOVE my full size. I can't seem to play with it enough. Very well finished off the line. This is a total win in my mind. Great Review
ОтветитьI like the look of it when it's open, but can't get over the gap between the blade and bolster when closed.....
ОтветитьThe original crooked is a favorit non-carry knife of mine, it just won't work for size where I live with knife scared people and legality. This one is on the must-buy list, but also must be diamond wood, as it just looks amazing. The slight recurve can easily be grinded out.
ОтветитьYour camera really brings out the look of this knife its beautiful I'm gonna go for it with no hesitation.
ОтветитьThanks ESB! I was looking fwd to that review, and am pretty sure I'll be ordering one.
ОтветитьIt has a spyderco Rubicon backspacer?
ОтветитьWith who do I have to get drunk with to get all these knives before they are available to public?
ОтветитьLOVE my Standard Crooked River, it is a beast though. And that backspacer clashed with the pivot horribly. RIT dye fixed it up.
ОтветитьCool, but if it’s not a blade length at or under 3”, then I’m not really interested. The Mini Grip has the perfect blade length, IMO.
ОтветитьRogue Blade Works is making CF handle scales for the large Crooked River and they're going to for the small as well . I was told they're making pivot collars and back spacers as well .
ОтветитьThis one looks perfect...I hope they listen to you on the upgraded steel & cf. But just as is I will be getting one. Thanks!
ОтветитьWish the clip were deep carry. Wonder if you can switch it to a deep carry? Had the full-size, sent it back, was way too big. Thinking about giving this one a try.
ОтветитьI have one of those and like it very much. I wonder if they're going to offer it with the grey scales.
ОтветитьI hate orange, as ridiculous as it seems this is the only reason I’m still debating pulling the trigger.
ОтветитьThanks Mr. BUNNY...I own one and love it. ..your rite...its more e d knife than just hunting...mainly cause I dont hunt ;)
Thanks again CHEERS!
Would you say it's the best benchmade available at the moment? I've sold all the benchmades I've ever owned, not sure why, they just don't tend to stick when compared with my spyderco's, ZTs, etc., but I really do love the aesthetics on the mini crooked river and the size seems just right.
ОтветитьI bought a BM Crooked River last year and it's my favorite knife. I carry a BM North Fork when I need to carry smaller. I purchased a first run knife of the BM Mini Crooked River (700 were made) and I love it. I still have to carry the BM North Fork because the blade is just under 3" which is the limit in some places I go, so the BM mini CR won't be allowed in those places either. I also will have to buy another mini CR since I don't want to ruin a first run edition knife. BTW, what a beautiful watch you have. A Tudor BlackBay Red. That is on my radar to get.
Ответитьsmall in this case is better, i prefer about this size knife. and i LOVE the natural looking 'iron wood'. BUT...
it's price is too high
the QC at benchmade isn't what it should be for top end knives.
seriously, orange for the back spacer?
i love the look of this knife but until it's priced better and i have a can of spray paint for that ugly back spacer i'm going to hold off on buying one. and when i do, i'm sure i'll have to go through 10-15 of them to find one with no defects a 'top end' knife should have.
btw, carbon fiber handle? :/
no, that would ruin the look of this knife in my opinion.
I loved the crooked river when it first came out, I didn't get one because of the size. I'll have to pick one of these up, maybe best to hold off to see what alternate versions they come out with
ОтветитьIt's beautiful! Perhaps too pretty to plunge into a moose.
ОтветитьGreat review ( and nice Tudor).
ОтветитьMini knives are for people with small hands, and you know what people say about that.....
ОтветитьWas yours that smooth opening when new? Mine seems a bit tight but I’m not sure if I should loosen the screw or wait. I’ve been using it a couple months but still doesn’t snap open so quickly.
ОтветитьNot that I would abuse the knife but I don't like the sound of a chippy blade.
ОтветитьThey shouldn't have called it the mini, it's normal sized, the full sized is a pocket sword lol!...nice watch.
Ответить$190 😱
ОтветитьNice Tudor!
ОтветитьI noticed there aren’t many strider knives on your channel. Do you not like them or something?
ОтветитьOrange reminds me of fuck face Trump
ОтветитьIs yours spring loaded when opening? I just custom ordered one and it does not open as nicely as yours.
ОтветитьMan that is one ugly knife 🤮
ОтветитьGreat video. I'm sold on this knife. I'm buying one tomorrow. Btw nice watch your sporting there.
ОтветитьI am an old feller, and a knife with a handle length of over 4" is a large pocket knife. Why do so many want overly huge knives today? I can gut and skin a deer with a Buck Mini Trapper, which is much smaller than that knife there. I just do not get the name Mini for such a big knife. That is about the max for a knife I would carry in my pocket. Most of my knives are smaller. I just don't get the need for such large knives.
ОтветитьI carry the crooked river mini with my custom recon1 ( custom by me ) almost all the time . S30V is re- invented 440c except it has to be sharpened a little more ! Eccept when I'm trying something else ! But keep coming back ! Get rid of the thumb stud ! Order more springs ! Mine was delivered with a broken spring shortly the other spring broke ! Replaced with ganzo (G) lock springs that never break !
ОтветитьWhy does everyone say hair popping ? The phase is hair splitting sharp ! As in it is so sharp if you dropped a hair on the edge of the blade it would slit by its own weight !!!
Like what the ** does hair popping mean ?
Sorry not getting on your case only like every tuber says that !!
Ohhh that watch though 😍
ОтветитьBeen really wanting to custom order one of these. Thinking I will as soon as I can make a solid decision on the ideal metal for my knife.
I plan to use this for EDC, largely for cutting open plastic wrap and cardboard boxes. What metal should I order for it?
Just got one for Valentines Day from my wife! Love it!
ОтветитьJust purchased it for $158 on Amazon today (best price I've seen in the past year). Can't wait for it to arrive. Nice Tudor btw!
ОтветитьNice Tudor
ОтветитьWish they make smaller one like the fork north
ОтветитьI just bought the Benchmade Crooked River First Production #7/400
