Luckily this deadly disease only kills 10 thousand people per year,
It used to be much deadlier, this parasite can kill up 90 thousand people every year,

And these flies are also very unique amongst other flies,
As these flies give birth to live young,instead of laying eggs, and they also can feed their babies milk like us.

What we to do is find a specific virus(all single celled organisms have to face them,including parasites)that kills this deadly parasite.
Most tsetse fly species may have this special virus to protect their offspring from the hitchhiking deadly parasites.
The viruses are called trypano phages(I like to call any virus, a phage,because I(Ryan VD) think it makes them sound much cooler and more pacific),
These viruses are far deadlier to the parasites than they are to humans?
Millions of trypanosomes have died from these viruses, every day.

Is often called American or new world trypanosomiasis.
This species is often a intra cellular parasite that targets cells, ranging from macrophages to neurons.
The only thing that they have in common,
is that they reproduce as amastogotes inside cells(I think they do that to reproduce more efficiently and rapidly,reproducing with a flagellum takes more energy than reproducing without the flagellum), and once they divide enough times inside the cell, they transform into triple mastogotes,that burst out from the cells they infect,and they will repeat the cycle again and again,until they are sucked up by another blood sucking insect. And the life cycle will repeat again.

I am doing research on Trypanosoma brucei. Indeed it's a cunning parasite. It frequently switches it's surface glycoprotein to evade human immune response. So we are trying to figure out how to stop this switching events. It's a like a cop ( human immune response) running after a thief ( Trypanosma), but the thief is befooling the cops to evade the arrest by changing shirts.

This is one of the most awesome show but terrifying at the same time. But its looks scarier than it really is. Most of these are rare cases, happens to the real unlucky ones. Even though theres thousands n thousands of cases but compared to the world's population its considered rare. Everyone has their time so don't worry too much just live ur life n the most important thing is to be happy with the one u love n enjoy every minute of it, if n when the time comes then it comes lifes too short to worried about other things n what could happen😉
