Surah AL-BAQARAH Ayat 13
وَاِذَا ق۪يلَ لَهُمْ اٰمِنُوا كَمَٓا اٰمَنَ النَّاسُ قَالُٓوا اَنُؤْمِنُ كَمَٓا اٰمَنَ السُّفَـهَٓاءُۜ اَلَٓا اِنَّهُمْ هُمُ السُّفَـهَٓاءُ وَلٰكِنْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
Dan apabila dikatakan kepada mereka: "Berimanlah kamu sebagaimana orang-orang itu telah beriman". Mereka menjawab: "Patutkah kami ini beriman sebagaimana berimannya orang-orang bodoh itu?" Ketahuilah! Sesungguhnya merekalah orang-orang yang bodoh, tetapi mereka tidak mengetahui (hakikat yang sebenarnya).

Surah AL-AN'AAM Ayat 6
اَلَمْ يَرَوْا كَمْ اَهْلَكْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ مِنْ قَرْنٍ مَكَّنَّاهُمْ فِي الْاَرْضِ مَا لَمْ نُمَكِّنْ لَكُمْ وَاَرْسَلْنَا السَّمَٓاءَ عَلَيْهِمْ مِدْرَاراًۖ وَجَعَلْنَا الْاَنْهَارَ تَجْر۪ي مِنْ تَحْتِهِمْ فَاَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَاَنْشَأْنَا مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ قَرْناً اٰخَر۪ينَ
Tidakkah mereka memerhati dan memikirkan berapa banyak umat-umat yang telah Kami binasakan sebelum mereka, padahal (umat-umat itu) telah Kami teguhkan kedudukan mereka di muka bumi (dengan kekuasaan dan kemewahan) yang tidak Kami berikan kepada kamu, dan Kami turunkan hujan atas mereka dengan lebatnya, dan Kami jadikan sungai-sungai mengalir di bawah mereka, kemudian Kami binasakan mereka dengan sebab dosa mereka mereka, dan Kami ciptakan sesudah mereka, umat yang lain?

For me it's the other way round. I live in India and just can't believe that my good friends who are Hindu will go to hell. I started questioning Islam and soon reached the conclusion that all organised religions are farse and just man made. I am still an agnost for God question but too emotional when it comes to the prophet and his family. Just can't over come the deep rooted aqeedat. And yes I know what you are talking about when you say the anxiety and depression. It took lot's of effort to overcome these.

Wow, Ali Malik has shared detail sect of Muslims/Islam. I know there are many sects in Islam but Ali gave more details which further confused me on Islam sects and each claiming their way is the right way. We all know Allah is created by Muhammad for his own benefit. Thank you Ali & Sameer.

A neighbor of mine once expressed his desire to want to marry. He said that he would marry a child because the Prophet did it and it is in accordance with Islamic law. The way my jaw dropped. I stopped talking to him immediately!

After leaving Christianity, I didn't realise that I did infact leave because I was feeling bad about struggling to go to church on Sundays. Until one day, I said it out loud to myself. Dear Ali , i do not think there is any need to be an Ex Muslim. You can be part of your community and even participate in celebrations and prayers. However you can just refuse to accept any sort of violence , injustice , oppression or medievealism because all religions irrespective are ancient or medieval. So be a humanist and rational person and if any one wants to use your religion , any religion to perpetuate any sort of injustice try to reform and bring change in your community rather than running away from it. Personally I am against the indoctrination of any child with any ideology or belief system. They can learn about it when they grow up and it is upto them to accept it or not.

I am an ex ex Muslim. i.e.Muslim to Atheism and back to Islam with a vengeance. It was five years of Atheism driven by study of fallible human science. I was initially a nominal Muslim before my Atheism. But reverted back to Islam with a vengeance influenced and guided by a Muslim scientist. It is a wonder that any Muslim who is conscious about his faith could even think of leavingg Islam. It is the natural religion of humans and the Shariah fits in to serve that purposer the ex Muslim movement is a well funded and is financed by the Western hegemonists as they see Islam as the biggest threat to ultimate world domination. They are in a state of panic and desperation

Ali's other video where he talks about how muhammad got revelations everytime he wanted more liberties for himself really makes lot of sense that he made islam to suit himself.Thank you both for talking about this subject.There's lots of ex that still don't have courage😅
