I love Nurture Soap! While participating in the Soap Challenge Club this year, I won a gift certificate from them - with my very first soap ever entered into the challenge! I have used fragrances and micas from them in the past, so this was a perfect excuse to buy more (and spend way more than the gift certificate amount LOL).

Nurture has a really great selection - and one of the main things I love about them is that they test EVERYTHING! They share the cured soaps, soaping notes, tips if one misbehaves a bit, recipes they used, as well as actual reviews from other makers. To me, that is golden information. And after years of frustrations elsewhere, I stick with companies that share this wisdom. It saves us makers a lot of time and money! Yes - you should test - but it sure helps to know if something accelerates or not, or discolors or not, or has a morphing scent once cured.

Since I'm focusing more on seasonal releases now, I decided to have more intention with the fragrances I got this time. Several years ago, I purchased around 60 (yes 60) of their sample sizes to test. I used those results to help me with my decision today with what works best for my visions. For fragrances, I got 8th & Ocean, Peace and Love, Black Raspberry Vanilla, Avalon, Island Oasis, and Coconut Lime Verbena.

Now on the micas. . . .... have you ever looked in the fridge and there's nothing to eat despite a fridge full of food? Or looked in a full closet and there's nothing to wear? I think that is how I am with Micas! I decided to go with sample sets - they have quite a few to chose from. And the ones I got are just gorgeous! I've already used a few with great success.
