Just sucks that after so long the game just becomes filled with the competitive mindset. New players get overwhelmed with instant expectations. It's the same with any game that goes for competitive aspects.

This game is the least bit competitive and has an incredibly low skill ceiling... Dont be fooled by people talking all fast then moving all fast on the screen its all smoke and mirrors appearing to seem skillful at this game. Just consider how you can play survivor with 1 button basically... Then killer takes 2 buttons then ya click a button and you auto vault windows and on killers you dont even have to aim hits with how large the hit boxes are.. you latch onto survivors during the lunge on killers the melee is for baby beginners lol. Dead by daylight is no more than a party game ok.

I know i could be passed off as some hater.. nah i just dont get fooled by fast movements or British people talking.. and i play dbd myself i know and understand how simple it is. Theres just too many guarantees in this game from how the maps are designed and how the pallets are placed. It just comes down to understanding distances and map layout. The game is very basic in movement as well as limited... Just take into consideration how they had to off balance the opposition with different POVs firstly to even create a dynamic instead of actually balancing the game. Please people dont get so drawn in and fooled by a game like dbd .. ill admit it's fun and all its really just a party game there's nothing for competitive nature.

Idc if I mained one killer and was good as the best if not better; I couldn’t do it😂 I’d lose my mind. I’d play one match and have to take a breathing treatment after🤣 survivors are so good. Sometimes it’s not even the perks. Crazy how pros look compared to just people that play normal all the time. Probably the same; the pros just adapt so much quicker mid match.

I think being really good at gen rushing and doing gens in under 5 minutes and being good at looping killers are very different things.

The amount of dialogue going on in the survivor side in that last match must be longer than any entire court session. Hectic than a job as a line cook on a Friday night with 5 items on the menu that are 86’d and windows stacked. There’s no reason players should be this good.

so many dbd comp players are just actual losers. Some random killer 4ks a comp team and comp players lose their shit on twitter over their broken ego about a match that had literally nothing to do with them. They see one comp team lose and with their fragile childish ego think the entire universe now thinks that they specifically are bad and all the thousands of hours they put in were for nothing.

Ive been around a lot of pro scenes, and dbd comp players by a significant margin have the biggest and most fragile egos out of any game ive seen. The things ive seen them say is genuinely baffling.

Is it because the majority of the playerbase sees the game as just a fun casual non-serious game, and they need to prove to themselves that they are way better than all the casuals? Is it because the pro scene is very small so they need validation that their game is a legitimate esports game too? whatever it is they need a reality check.

Also,im ofc not saying all comp players are like that. Theres plenty who are fine "normal" people. Well, as normal as someone who has 10-20k hours in dbd gets. But point being they arent fragile children who can respect that it is a casual game for the most part and its cool if other people play it that way while having a healthy amount of pride in the own exceptional skill theyve aquired in this niche thing.

I think the problem is people throw the word pro and comp around like it’s holds any weight and that they’re definitely a pro or comp player. Don’t get me wrong a lot of players are good at the game but holy fuck it’s such and easy game. Chill out a bit with the words pro and comp. You’re not special
