If you'll permit me a little ramble, releasing this film a big deal for me in a lot of ways. It is the longest film I've ever made, and also the most I've ever struggled with a project in post production. The process of finishing this film was troubled to say the least, and very tied to my mental health. Whilst there are certain things about this film that I love, I'm also so glad to be able to cut it loose and move on to other things. I'm much too close to this film to be able to see it for what it is anymore, only what it means to me. It's nice thinking that it'l be out in the world, briefly touching people's lives, hopefully thrilling them for a few minutes, before they move on. The way it should be!
