Not to be pedantic but school days is art. Not being good doesnt make it less "art" as much as "having drawings" does not even technically make it art. I find Chris's interactions to be very typically british. There is this polite distance where he tries to be curt and frank. But when he wants to be more genuine. He becomes more sarcastic and jab at that politeness to break down that natural barrier.

But if you fail the vibe check. Chris would return to being very polite but keep the sarcasm.
