Or are you gonna give a political response, with your opinion? Just so you know. The trucking industry has been going downward for the last 10 years. Basically. Rely on yourself.

Look into the oil industry. We drill and produce more oil than any other nation. The issue is corporations have not set up the infrastructure to refine it in the way the US uses it because it is cheaper to ship it out unrefined and refine it elsewhere. We then buy refined oil from other countries because once again it's cheaper than refining our own oil. It's not an issue of drilling, it's an issue of refining. That's not something that can be solved over night. It'll take a massive movement/tax money to build the refinery infrastructure to pull it off. You also deal with the issue of forcing private corps to build these things otherwise you'll need to nationalize the industry.

People will just buy less when things cost more, so then product demand decreases and truckers have less work.

People have such a short memory, remember when truckers protested in Washington DC in April 2019 and Mr Trump said he doesn’t have any influence on the freight market.

When Trump was president there were two trucking strikes & go slows infront of the white house😂. The China tarrifs were especially bad & we never recovered. Even when truckers begged him in person he said he loved them so yeah... good luck.

his mass deportation plan is going to be terrible for housing. who do you think builds those houses? rent will go up as the rate of building houses will drastically slow. not to mention the farming industry will be impacted. his tariffs are going to affect the economy badly. 60% to china, and 10% globally. that will slow freight drastically as a lot of freight comes from china. not to mention increasing prices for consumers. also, tax cuts to corporations has been proven time and time again to not pay workers more. they pocket it. we’ve known this since reagan. also, we’ve been drilling more oil than we ever have right now, look at the gas prices. they’ve dropped. but we all know, trickle economics never work because corporations will keep the profits.

Probably nothing great. Economy is already overheated and due for recession. Tariffs, global conflict, deportations will likely put us there. A lot of the high flying industries like tech are laying people off already.

I remember drivers complaining about lack of frieght under Trump and Obama as well. If only 1 person can make trucking boom, it comes and goes in waves. We did really well during Covid because of demand and also a relaxed rules of service to allow us to deliver the needed supplies. I hope the economy continues on a good path and that inflation continues to go down.

I'm just glad that the crazy lady didn't win. I didn't want doctors and teachers telling my kids that it was ok to be gay. God created only two genders.

Tyler, I think the one thing we have lost as a country is the ability to agree to disagree. Do i agree with everything you said? No but I can also concede your point about the economy. You had some good points on the impact the current economy has on trucking. I can also continue to learn from you and still enjoy your videos.
