I played DC priest back at WotLK and Cataclysm, that is before Blizzard started cutting our legs off to make other healers competitive. You could have been kicked from your clan If you wasn't at full mana after every boss fight.

play nightelf and be ready to shadowmeld if someone pulls this shit on you. if the tank pulls before i say im ready i merrily wait for them to die or my mb to finish, witchever comes first.
They either learn or they kick me. Both options are fine

The sudden panic I get when tank or someone pulls & I'm like 1/5th mana pool so I have to conserve mana for my fckn life Mate! And pray to the Holy God's for everyone to properly use interrupts and CC so we can survive. 🙏

Recently in the Random Dingeon Finder a LOT of Faerlina people that you get in the teen have been complete assholes. Usually the tank, and usually for no good reason. It’s like they’re living just like the tank in the video here acting like a 12 year old

Which is why I never played as a healer since nearly all other members of your PUG were usually pure idiots. Though had the same as a Tank since I was getting ready to engage and a Fireball is flying past my head.

I've been on both sides, Priest in Vanilla Classic then Pally tank in TBC before dropping the game. Most people let you drink but man I had a couple times when I'd be the only mana class/only one who needs mana as priest and just raw pain as the tank bandages or doesn't care and just runs to the next pack after I type "oom drinking". Or having an arrogant healer with a complex as tank, especially when they go OOM mid pull from full mana because they can't conserve mana for beans, overheal like crazy, and don't say anything when we have at least 1 other class with healing options in the group. The worst one kept trying to be the leader since he had played forever and was by far the worst healer I ever had on classic.

i actually havent seen this happen in 2023 classic.

i remember a mage told me to ask politely for water so i just kicked him. lol i was the healer and group leader. he was shocked said, wtf? 😂 it was in BRD

that's why i was loved to be a tank back then. i was always watching over my healers mana so they doesn't have to stress out💪

As a healer that’s very accurate lol especially at lower levels. I’ve actually learned how to play with using mana, potions, and mana regenerators (like shadow fiend and body and soul) so that I don’t have to stop and drink so much 😂

I am not too proud to admit I've pulled a group in a dungeon without checking the team's mana, causing a wipe. I didn't blame the healer though, I apologized for not paying attention to the state of the party. I recently hopped onto WoW after being away since Wrath and am used to FFXIV mechanics.

It was somewhat amusing seeing how the party reacted when I apologized for blundering. They didn't seem to be expecting it.

This reminds me of my experience healing on FFXIV.
When it's my fault for being absent minded:
Me: "Oh shit, sorry guys, I missed it, my bad"
Tank (dead): "Lol don't worry, feels nice worrying for my life after so long"

When it's their fault:
Me: "Uh... Tank? We're not ready, one of us went AFK for a sec"
Tank: "Huh? Oh, crap, my bad, force of habit. Don't save me if I die, it's gonna lead to a longer wipe, just wait for me I'll be with you in a sec"
