Do you know who won’t be back…to work anyways? Those swat guys who the t800 shot in the knee. Not only is that injury very difficult to recover from especially to the point where you can return to front line policing but the mental trauma of seeing a guy repeatedly shot in the face and not die would be enough in and of itself to make you considered unfit to ever return to law enforcement.

This scene is my favourite because the t800 is shot by the swat team but shoots all the swat team members in the legs

The first terminator was a killing machine but this terminator is a fucking vetarin one man army 💪

I'd say this scene is one of the coolest scenes ever in cinema, but then every scene in this movie could lay claim to that honour.

Ever since the T800 encounter the LAPD started issuing tactical knee pads to it's swat officers

*You have to promise me you you won't kill anyone, (Keeps his word the whole movie) Only shoots them in the legs so they will survive.

I think another nice addition would have been hearing the cops' reaction to seeing the guy still walking while being pumped with bullets. Like you gotta imagine many of them were probably thinking "Wtf is this guy" or something, seeing the metallic scars on his head and the strange metal sounds whenever they hit him.

He shoukdve taken that gas canister and throw it back at them then took them all by surprise. Thats what i wouldve done if i was the Terminator. I definitely wouldnt have let them shoot me all up like that still knowing i have to fight off another more powerful evil Terminator
