I'm watching it. Spoiler ahead!

At one point, the whole state of New York loves him. He then made a point in Mary who gave birth to Jesus to being a prostitute and that Christian are stupid, etc. When I tell you I was extremely surprised, the entire audience started to chase him and hate him. I was shocked for 2 reasons. One, not even 40-60% of American are Christians. The majority of the entire world population hates Christians. I forsake thought they'd make a great joke with this. But they didn't.

Second, they COMPLETELY forget that this man was preserved in a pickle brine for 100 years. He 100 years behind in everything. They made a conference about the right to offend again.then the christian question came from his own grandson from pure jealousy.

They publically said this man was preserved for 100 years, and litterally, a couple of days later, everyone forgets. I would have been HILARIOUS if he became president and we had seen a world made in his view. I would of found that hilarious.

That's right, after James Franco got cancelled, Seth Rogen has to star in movies with himself

It would've been cool if the time travel plot element was alot more sophisticated like Herschel seriously fucked up in pissing someone or a council off and some Jewish demon cursed him to be in suspended in hibernation for 100 years and he when awakens, he's gotta accomplish an incredible feat or else he will languish in hell forever, or something like that

This movie was actually so intens.. my god I actually cried! But it was really funny as well. Damn that Seth Rogen knows how to make movies.

How did he not drown

I rate it 3/10. There was loads of potential for jokes about modern society but it couldn't because itd then have to make fun of itself. The film almost tries to make the great grandad the villain and butt of the joke of the film, but then you start to realize the great grandson is the biggest joke and loser of the film, who constantly tries to sabotage his own great grandad through out the whole film. There's some touching moments but its not enough to save how much it just pointless this film is. Someone else should've made this film who isnt afraid to make fun of modern society.

It is an awesome comedy movie. I watched it today on a flight. It speaks about family bondings, culture, etc.

This movie is about old school ideas v the modern day. It's extremely beautiful and thought provoking.
